Well explained. But, the video ends abruptly. Would love to watch the rest of the video.
i never thought aiims may surgery revision will be my last class listening u😢
Thank u sir
Thank you for the explanation sir. Just to make things clear, as far as I know capacitative coupling doesn't have any thing to do with insulation failure:
Capacitative coupling is the induction of stray current to a surrounding conductor through the INTACT insulation of an active electrode (e.g., active electrode-insulation-metal trocar sheath). The magnitude of the coupled charge is proportional to the amount of voltage and trocar diameter. As with direct coupling, isolation of the electrified metal trocar from the abdominal wall by an insulator risks catastrophic visceral injury above the field of view.
True...leak is something else...capacitance coupling is current induction thru insulation of intrument in a metal trocar but that metal trocar needs tl be surrounded by some kindda insulator from abdominal wall else this wont happen
THANK YOU SO MUCH
You can correct me . But my understanding of the capacitative coupling is different.
Insulation failure of the activated hand instrument leads to 'direct' coupling.
While Capacitive coupling is the induction of the stray current to the surrounding conductor through the 'intact' insulation of an active electrode.
So the scenario of Intact insulation of the activated instrument passed through the metal reducer which is passed through the non conducting ( e.g. plastic ) Port ( cannula/ sheath). Hence use of Plastic cannula is more likely to cause capacitative coupling injury. So The MNCompanies which sell the plastic ports which do not need reducer to pass the thinner instrument.
Wonderful video sir 👍
Thanks
Amazing sir!!😍😍
Excellent Demo!
THANK YOU, GREAT EXPLANATTION
Thanks sir ji

Sir hook or laparoscopic diathermic hook???
Nowadays safety trocher is used for the first port which is done blindly (before inserting the camera ) . Rest are inserted under the camera guidance to prevent bowel injusry . This should have been explained.
Sir, where is the complete video?
I found this video very informative so if you have complete version of this video please upload it asap.
Thank you sir.
Ashiyan Irfan will upload it on my FB group.
Sure thing sir.
Thank you.
Sir isn't plastic trochar usage there is more risk of capacitance??
Nice video.thanq sir

Hello Sir. I have a question unrelated to this video. Do PG students get to perform surgeries under supervision in India? Or do they only get to be the first assistant of the Surgeon please?
They get to do independent work as well once they can do well under supervision
