Nice green house. Thank you for sharing with us .
I love seed starting day! We are in Illinois so it isn't quite time yet for us!!!
Rain water always works best
Condiment bottle is such a great idea to start
I love the video! I love your door to!
Morning Sister👋🏻 I’ve got to get started planting some tomatoes now that the cold spell has passed. Have a great day ❤🙏🏻❤️
Do it! We’re doing some extra in hopes we get a bunch this year.
Yall are such a fun and sweet couple to watch and learn from! My husband and I joke around in similar ways, and he's also there to save the day and make my life easier!
I have found the same with water from the spigot versus water I catch in containers when it rains. I’ve been looking at how to create an affordable rain catchment system. Maybe Shawn could share how he makes yours?
I’ll tell he need to get it up and running again.
@ i just had a thought, wink-wink, maybe you could rent Shawn out for projects! That’d be a great additional revenue stream. Hahaha! Well, maybe not such a great idea since he already has a full time job AND is a partner in all you do at your own home, so we’ll just have to go with the how-to videos. :-)
So exciting! I'm in Northern PA so we have quite a while to wait yet but I get all my seeds from Baker creek, love them! Love your beautiful greenhouse!
Thank you I can't garden to cold at night in summer here I do have pots on an indoor ledge but its small and just for fun. I garden vicariously though others and you the first this year yeah!
Awesome! I'm so glad I discovered your videos ! I learn a lot and really enjoy watching your videos.
Your watering bottle is genious! I was using a 16 oz water bottle that i drill a bunch of little holes in for a rain head sprinkler effect, but I have to refill so often that it's a pain. I like your idea better. Thanks guys. Good luck with your garden.
Great and smart ideas! Thank you for the video ❤
I’m going to do this tomorrow. I’ll be starting my onions and peppers along with some greens. I will wait on my tomatoes about a month or so. I think I’m about 2-3 hours north of y’all plus I’m at 2300 ft elevation so I wait a little longer to put out some things.
If you get some Wall O Water or KozyKote(sp?) cloches, you can plant your tomatoes out in the middle of April(if your last frost date is May 1-15ish. Then, you can have ripe tomatoes in July! Which means you could start them indoors about now.
@ thanks for suggesting this. I may look into it for a couple of Cherry type tomatoes that would get me started a little sooner.
We are in the middle of winter here so now I’m dreaming about starting my seeds…. We can’t plant out till the end of May - ish here! Looks like you’re well on your way to a fruitful garden!!!
❤ Loving that garlic. I need to plant some.
God's water is always better . I usse rain water on my garden plants
I do a similar seed start but instead of moss, I use coconut fibers. I mix it up in a storage tote and premoisten the soil with rainwater before lightly filling my cells. I'm excited for you guys because I just love watching plants grow and be fruitful 🥰 We've decided not to grow tomatoes this year. The Texas heat just eats them up and stresses them out! I might however do a determinate cherry tomato in the house. We'll see 🤔 if I can convince the husband. I've already started my herb seeds to replenish my spices this year and I'll start my veggies next week. Gardening is a lot of work but it's therapeutic for me. Happy growing season you guys!!! ❤
Gardening is so fun a stinks all at once. I get discouraged but determined to make them work this year.
@LittleHillHomesteadGa I believe it's going to be an awesome growing season and you are going to do a great job!! Can't wait to watch what you do with the bountiful harvest!! You're videos are inspiring and are giving me my pep in the kitchen when things start feeling monotonous. Thank you!!❤️
I watched a video on growing zucchini up instead of a bush. I thought of you but didn't save it. I'll try to find it and share it somewhere.
Yup, it's been unusually cold in ENC too! Do you plan to name your green house?
Oh I saw an old stove for sale on market place that looked like your.
The greenhouse is lady Louise. My dear friend got my all the windows and his mama is Louise. I love our store but I still look at them on marketplace.
If you need to use city water fill your buckets 24-48 hours before you need to use.
The chlorine will evaporate out making it safer to use.
Great idea. I actually filled some buckets last night to try this out.
we have -27 celsius with a wind chill at -36 celsius
Brr!
Thank you for this video. I have a request and perhaps many others may be interested as well. Went to the store the other day (live in Calif) and needed eggs for making my Mayo............nothing.........not one single carton. We use a lot of Mayo around here. Before I started making my mayo I had found a vegan one (I am not vegan, just was desperate for better ingredients), and it was good, much like Best Foods/Hellmans (same product different name). I as perhaps others do not want to go back to store bought Mayo. So since eggs will be hard to find and when found will be very $$, would you be able to make a no egg Mayo for those of us who make our own? The one I had found, the ingredients are.......Expeller pressed high oleic safflower oil - filtered water - brown rice syrup - ACV - pea protein - sea salt - mustard flour - lemon juice concentrate. Not sure how better ingredients these are now a day (I was just learning way back then) Ingredients would need changing like oil (learned it is heavily procced), this of course would only be a start point as your others dubs are. OR make us be in awe of your great talent of figuring out the How To of duping on your very own. With what we are all looking at with higher pricing, we need your talents more then ever. Thank you for teaching us all your Dups.
We’re having the same issue with eggs out here. Hmm, let me mess with this and see if I can figure it out. Great idea!
@@LittleHillHomesteadGa Thank you :)
Not just clorine in our water a lot more bad things
I know.
