Your playthrough inspired me to do a pirate ship only playthrough, and turns out with enough S mods even the Atlas Mk II can slap pretty hard. Great vid as always!
Thumper is now actually good. I have somehow missed for two years but it got buffed to a point where it has a 1 to 1 damage/flux ratio on shields and armor, and when you strip those, it just eats up the hull...
if you ever want to experiense super weapon but without super weapon mod. Junkyard dogs for their homing asteroid launcher + pegasus 4 big missile slots. does same damage as the super redacted missiles, flies faster and pegasus special lets you launch those bad boys without it's ridicilously long cooldowns/reload times.
Also day later now that i have time to finish the stream vod, 4x locust in pegasus is absolute meme build too, hyper agressive delte any ship that isnt capital build. and can over load capitals in just few seconds due the never ending stream of swarm missiles. but this one is not build for long battles, can take max 2 invasion fleets before have to dip out so missiles get resupplied outside combat.
@Rarr I have a TON of mods installed, and they mostly installed correctly, even the ones I has to modify the .json files for. Except the portrait packs. I cannot select them when starting a new character, but weirdly, I see them in my game, AND if I select a custom officer (from another mod) I can go through ALL of them inside the game. Have you ever run into anything like this, and do you know how I could fix this issue?
