    "-14 integrated" means that if the song has quiet parts, then the loud parts can be much louder than -14?

    • @sageaudio
      @sageaudio  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's correct! Usually a track with an integrated -14 LUFS will have momentary LUFS readings that are higher. In other words, some parts will be louder like you said.

      @@sageaudio so I can win the loudness war on youtube by adding a couple of minutes of silence to the end of the track?

    Maybe it's recent, but I knew that soundcloud has no LUFS rules.

      Hey Big M! I think they changed this recently. Here's a link to where I got my info from - at the bottom it details how they normalize to -14 LUFS now: help.soundcloud.com/hc/en-us/articles/360050813573-Mastering-FAQs

    CD baby , DistroKid and all digital streaming website has a 1 master for all streaming site publish . How Can I do to publish separate mastering !?

    • @sageaudio

      Hey Toofan! Some distribution companies will let you select one or a couple of streaming services to distribute to instead of all of them. One company that does this is Songtradr.
      That said, it's best to find an average loudness that'll work for all streaming services if you intend to distribute to all of them.

    So how loud should are tracks be?

    • @sageaudio
      @sageaudio  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for watching! It depends on how you plan to distribute your music and the genre. But a range of -14 LUFS to -9 LUFS will work well.
