I love the Rambo 3 bowie Greg. I think it's my #1 favorite out of all of the Rambo knives. But I would only buy the new Hibben 3 since I heard that Mast Cutlery has not once gave Gil Hibben any royalties for both of his Rambo knife designs. Cowboy C Bop told me that in one of his videos.

Hi Greg Thanks for this video comparing the MC and the current UC version. I've got the new UC version too and some current HCG versions. I have the former UC version too from 1989. That one is about 4cm smaller and has a nice practical handle and feels very good in my hands although the handle could be 1cm longer.... I like both versions very much...just brutal...real monsters...but I don't like the handle. They are far to big and feel absolutely uncomfortable in my hand...but nevertheless, I love the Rambo III knife. Cheers mate Chris
I agree about the handles. I'm getting a handmade Hibben Rambo 3 made in 1988 that looks like the handle is much nicer. I will do a comparison when it arrives
