The more I listen to it, the more unique it actually sounds. Among the lot of her contemporaries, Grimes actually has a voice of her own - despite the fact she does sound like a bag of hello-kitties on occasion. She actually makes hipsterism sound cool - pleasantly lost somewhere between Enya, Madonna and The Durutti Column.

i don't think it's different, i think she just played it a quarter note later than when she does in the album version, so it sounds different

It's kinda nightmare listening those childish voice japanese singers like Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and her 'Pon Pon Pon' maybe her main influence. Very cute&scary like me but she is a keyboard talented girl and maybe doesn't pretend to write poems or study japanese.

Whaaat?! I had never heard of him until I wanted to know who was cool enuf to b her BD. HE IS BRILLIANT; the perfect human, he should be world president or God. He has a reasonable answer to any question asked in every interview, he is entertaining, hilarious. He is kind, thoughtful; his money is self earned, rags to riches. And their story is fairy tale, meant to be. The way they met is so off the wall, one in a million chance of that happening to anyone. I find myself watching his interviews for hours even, literally, about things like rocketry that have never even crossed my mind and I have no interest in. He is the quintessential hero; he may be Jesus. Frfr.
