    Yes, istikhara prayer is so important...2 years ago a man proposed to me, and i had no obvious reason to say no then i prayed istikhara and I had a dream where a woman told me this man is not yours he is for the two women in the next room...so i rejected the proposal, he already got married and I assume he is going to have 2 wives . So yes always pray istikhara and don't ignore the signs just because the proposal is good.

    50:37 💯 correct and also keep in mind that if Allah wrote it for you, He(Allah) will give it to you and if Allah did not write it for you, have sabr, tawakul, engage in more salah and maintain the gratitude for that which He(Allah) is giving you and has given you(He is Al-Aleem ,Al-Hakeem).

    For the record bros, "not releasing" is mentioned in hadith. It is called 'azl' in Arabic aka 'coitus interruptus' and the historical ruling is that it is permissible.

    Must say most of what you guys talked about this episode, I related to. Especially with so many people trying to claim what is right or wrong.
    In the end Allahu Alam, and I’m trying remain strict with prayer and not so strict with life. There’s not many things that people agree on when it comes fatwa, so I take what I can and apply it if it has more of a stronger ruling. But if there’s different opinions on the subject, I always choose the easier one.
    Islam is all about balance. Of course don’t be out here all Willy nilly thinking Allah is so merciful that you can do whatever you want but don’t also be so strict where life becomes miserable.
    Overall, great episode, I like how this was more of a just kind therapeutic stream where you all talked about the problems with young adults today and how it affects each of you. I think the more people see how similar one’s life is then it opens up a way for them to see life differently.

    32:58 what brother Anghel says about context is soo important. not every problem is a spiritual problem and requires a spiritual lens. there are other ways to look at the issue of self-control: psychological, social, emotional, intellectual to name the main aspects of an individual. hence focusing on self-growth and development is 💯 barakAllah fikum for this

    Oh man, the part of reading websites and stuff and listening to shiekhs and trying to be 100% even though they sometimes felt extreme, ma men I stopped listening to and reading anything related to Islam (nah I recited Quran no excuse on that), point is, I stopped seeking knowledge, gaining is a different thing altogether.

    I really like these podcasts but I have a tiny suggestion. It'll be nicer if you don't add the sound effects from other video clips in between what you're saying. Don't know if it's just me but it kind of takes away from the flow and seriousness of the discussion. It's like a distraction.

    The problem is when you have non muslims friends and go to their houses and when they decide they wanna go to the bar and you’ll be the only one who’s not going. It happened to me recently for the first time, what bothers me isn’t that I want to go with them to the bar but I just need to stay with them and have fun.

    i love your job so much guys but I have to say something about Anghel's Thailand story. you can't judge people if you don't know exactly what's going on in that country. i don't know about Thailand but we are living similar issues in Turkey and people do judge from outside because they don't know what's really happening here. i personally don't pray at masjids in Turkey with Imam because in Turkey, the government chooses the Imam and it's a kufr system so the Imams they chose are just part of them. they don't have a right akidah and menhec they are just a basic doll of the government so my pray is not valid if I pray behind them when I know their akidah is not correct ( seriously they have no idea about what tavhid is, they believe in democracy and secularism and nothing else) ofc that's not for all of them but that's the general issue so I don't pray behind them as long as I know them and know their akidah correct. maybe you can call me extreme but that's better than my fard prays are not accepted by Allah just before that.

    • @merveakcay8504
      @merveakcay8504 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      but I pray alone at the masjids if it's not built by the government like the masjid Çamlıca because those kind of masjids are just masjid-i dirar
