Glad, you're out there enjoying, but please promote debarbing your hooks when using spinners and wetting your hands before grabbing the trout if you're doing catch and release.
Small stream trout are way less common in CA than they use to be, especially on the central coast, only a few steams are reliable/viable, anything we can do to make sure the trout have better oodds of surviving when being caught is worth it. All of your catches seemed to work out just fine, but just a thought as you do more videos.

All of my hooks had the barbs pinched down, but I absolutely agree with promoting barbless hooks in those small waterways. Thanks for the comment and I’ll do my best to bring more attention to the benefits of barbless hooks in future videos

Summer fishing Arroyo Seco river, isn't it closed? The CA DFG Regs say it's open Dec 1 to Mar 7.
That’s below the waterfall that divides the upper and lower Arroyo Seco River. Since steelhead can’t access the upper part of the river it’s subject to the general trout regulations for the area. I was fishing the upper part of the river.
Where is this at bro what entrance did you take ?
This is in the upper Arroyo Seco in Monterey County. I took the entrance through Fort Hunter Ligget and started at Santa Lucia Memorial Park.
What’s the fishing season for trout there
For the Arroyo Seco River and most of the rivers in Monterey County, CA the trout season is the last Saturday of April to November 16
Killing trout with poor handling and barbed hooks, do not emulate this fisherman.
