I've been reading background surrounding influences for Silence of the Lambs, and found a weird link to Jeff Dunham and a serial killer who inspired Hannibal Lector. From Wikipedia:
The character Patrick Bateman, in the 1991 novel American Psycho and its 2000 film adaptation, mistakenly attributes a quote by Edmund Kemper to Gein, saying: "You know what Ed Gein said about women? ... When he said on a stick he basically ruined the joke & it was pretty funny when he said Big Mexican women. That final unnecessary “on a stick” shows just how unfunny this Jeff Guy really is.

@@yashsingh1631 If you're wondering about how to get the P popped? I believe, if you watch Peanut's shoed foot as Peanut said that, the sound of his shoe hitting the stand quickly caused the "pop". Barely noticeable unless you're looking closely, but there, and a great extra touch!

My two all time favorite puppet characters! I confess that Peanut stole my heart forever years ago...and he hasn't given it back to me since. Jose Jalapeño is sheer genius, and I have no idea why anyone would consider him a "racist" character. I'm part Mexican and he makes me laugh til I cry, every time. Keep up the great job, Jeff! 👏👏👏
