Love the gold and black mixed with the red and gold paint. My favorite one so far!

For future reference, Semi-Chrome metal polish will remove the green corrosion, etc. on the gold colored plating and will prevent further corrosion for a little while. We use it on brass for uniforms to keep a mirror like finish.
Cool project and it turned out well if you have that taste. I would have preferred a burst with gold in the middle and the red on the outside. Just my taste. I am not much for the transitioning colors that have been put out lately. But it turned out great for someone with that taste. 🙂

Were BC Rich still using thoes single locking FR's in the 2000's. Never seen a gold one but they are notorious for breaking in half. Happened to my Platinium Bich. Looks like this has the same specs single locking trem, split for the bridge pick up so I reckon this is an early 90s model.

No, those bridges suck. They used licenced Floyd's by then.

Great job as always. I thought you would know by now that any Bc Rhch with that bridge, headstock & ply is a late 80s Platinum Series.

frankly that's one of the best bridges floyd rose ever made, it needs a billet tone block but other than that its a rally good bridge, I have a few and the black chrome one just cannot beat, it's when they made REAL black chrome, like in the vacuum chamber and electricity style, the real stuff, most all your vintage black chrome is the real stuff why it still looks so good today..
that's the first gold FR I seen like that, seen the chrome and black chrome never a gold one tho.. I dig that guitar where you get all these old BCR's you restore?

They aren't Floyd's, they are licensed ones that Bc Rich used & other companies on their cheap models. They are called Bendmaster & most people think they are junk including me.

Any idea what kind of bridge that is, I’ve got a 90’s or earlier platinum series warlock with the same bridge but black and pickups also, one of the surrounds is broken on the side where it has 2 screws holding the pickup and I can’t find anything on the pickups or bridge

I have a platinum bich with the same bridge and couldn't find a replacement anywhere. I found a Kahler fixed bridge that fits almost perfect. I tried several different Floyd Rose style tremelos without any luck. Trying a Kahler is probably going to be your best option

Man,I have never seen so much corrosion on the springs and block. looks like who ever owned it lived near a salt water region.$5 for a 9 pack for those batteries is a hell of a score, the to Snarks that I have the battery's seem to ware out quick, and I Always turn it of when done.

    Hey Zimm.
I like the work you do but you waste money on new parts when you don't have to. It's easy and cheap to polish the original parts and you'll be keeping the original stuff on it. There's a TH-camr from Japan Studio ASYL that keeps everything as original as he can. You could also Google "powder coating near me " and you could have the parts recoated the same finish or change it to another finish.
