Watching you debate about the bike makes me remember that I pulled over to pick up up an old lawnmower once before I realised it actually was some guy mowing his lawn and he was taking his grass cuttings out the back while he left the mower on the verge.

They go to yards near the docks like Manhari and one steel I think the other one is called. Though this one wasn’t pretty, I enjoy the challenge of fitting it all in 😁

I have a little over fifty, when I go to the bank I always ask for those and any coin dollars. There are a lot of different one dollar coins. Then I give the grandkids two dollar bills, just because they are different.
@@PolyProphet truly I don’t think there are any valuable ones but I could be wrong. I think they started making them in the seventies or eighties, again I could be wrong but not much earlier.
@@PolyProphet I believe it's the 1970s that are valuable. Also if there's a star on the upper right makes even more valuable.

Here in the USA they take everything metal to the scrapyard. The prices fluctuate but if it’s over fifty percent metal. For bulk metal I think it’s around $100.00 a ton. Watching from Panama City Florida, USA. 🇺🇸🦅

About the same time maybe a months difference. So 2.5 years roughly. I’ve always picked things up but only personal use items.

You did well getting rid of that fridge, they are a massive no no at the scrapyards here in the UK and scrappers avoid them like the plague. Can't believe the cord cutter got the microwave cord but missed that massive yellow extension, must have tunnel vision. Those little colourful pots you got are divas for holding candles for diwali which is the Hindu festival of light. My daughter is at university in Leicester which is the City with the Indian population outside of India and its quite a big festival with plenty of fireworks etc

Can you tell me if when you take cords in to the scrap yard do you have to separate them.... eg cat wire from extension cord ?
Yes cat wire especially the yellow and blue colours are separated into low grade wire.
