Im really happy for Tom he was actually enjoying himself. A nice serious conversation about the car with Adam. It's nice to see this side of Tommy instead of the usual way he is. Enjoyed this video very much definitly need more of this!

tommy would never admit it, but he looks up to, and respects adam, probably more than anyone, including himself. thats why when you see just those two together, tommy is a completely different person. put tommy in a GTR with Adam, and he's like the polar opposite of himself.

@@Frankenslide I think a big part of that is just that you have two VERY knowledgable and experienced people with similar tastes, who get along very well, and I think they both have a lot of respect for eachother's strengths, thought process', etc. I mean really, their minds/skills combined is a treasure trove of Golden Era JDM knowlegde. When theyre together I see a lot more brain picking, advice being dished, etc.

better off buying a gts4 or a gtr at that point.I feel like leaving it rwd and dumping an rb26 with some power behind it would be way to much car for his dad
@@crustyminge yeah cause they’re soooo hard to convert to AWD. If a 26 goes in it, you pretty much just need the gear box, wiring, diff and drift shaft. If the car gets fully restored, that’s adding 4-5 man hours, when you’d probably search longer than that for a nice gts4 or another GTR in that red.
@@codywiththecamera2901 I didnt comment looking for a fight mate....Full gtr swap and restoration on a gtst just dosent seem worth it. Not even factoring in smaller qaurters = less tyre .
@@crustyminge he gave it a 15k paint correction. I think he sees it more as his dads car, than just a GTST. Sentimental value goes way further than wider tires his dad would never need. Imagine him pulling a fuller restored, RB26 up to a old school muscle car meet. Johan piping would blow those guys minds.
Adam's 34 is so damn clean. Prolly his best car in his collection IMO. Tommy just might be the official GTR God in the US. That man knows his shit.

The transient response and overall characteristics of those turbos is perfect for the 2.6-2.8L.
@@RoadRoyals yes, but oem valves can struggles sometimes, usually only good for holding 20 to 24psi.
I use a greddy type r valve on the softest setting to hold 32psi on -5's and -10's no issues.

Tell Adam to keep those dampers his gtr came with. They are TEIN Super Racing dampers and cost around $4000 dollars. They are very very good for race tracks

Would love to see the 32 GTR get a full paint detail and see how well it comes up - including things like under the hood, jambs etc. It looks good now but has that hint that it would come up amazing with paint correction and a ceramic coat.
You know its a damn well build car when Tommy becomes almost speechless. I hope youll have your own R34 soon Tommy, we just know it would become a unique gem.

As far as I understand the N1 ducts were a dealer option. That's one of the reasons you see them on so many R32 GT-Rs

I dont know what happened to it but he had alot of cars. I worked on his Supras, he was in the process of making alot of them stock before the prices jumped.

I love how Adam and tj and these guys from warm states(Florida, cali) say cold starts.. lol here in MN my impreza on a usual winter day starts and sounds like a full blown sti with the subi grumble and everything. She's loud and she's also super stock! Lol but if it's not 15° or below it isn't a cold start. Ambient air there in that shop isn't cold I almost guarantee. Not hating! But when your car takes a few extra turns just to start cause of the cold is a whole different animal or sometimes you just can't start it lol

Hey Tommy you’ve probably seen the videos already but check out Australian gtr festival and the drag racing at cootamundra australia, I had a 32 about 15 years ago with a 3lt vl holden bottom end made 300kws back then which was pretty good power around that time
