Driving to Braies

Lake of Braies is situated in the homonymous valley, the Val di Braies, which diverts from Val Pusteria between Villabassa and Monguelfo. This lake, located in the heart of the Braies Dolomites, is characterised by its unique position in the north of the nature park Fanes-Sennes-Braies. The geological origin of the emerald green lake is referable to a reservoir dam, consequence of a mudflow.

Average depth: 17 m

Quelle bonne idée merci d’avoir filmé la route jusqu’au lac Debray cela me rappelle mes vacances d’été 2022 C’était grandiose je ne les oublierai jamais merci pour la belle vidéoAussi il faut savoir que le parking a beaucoup changé ils en ont rajouté un immense parking à droite c’est incroyable comme les choses ont changé en si peu de temps j’arrive pas le croire dommage que je ne suis pas allé avant 2022 c’était la première fois pour moi

July, August and weekend from April until the end of summer are too full of tourists. I think that the best moment is in June during the week. If u can, autumn is for me the very best moment and also in January you'll find an amazing Braies. Braies's lake is always amazing beautiful. I hope I have been helpful.
