Panko Crusted Baked Salmon

  • Do you want an easy salmon recipe? Check out my Panko Crusted Baked Salmon Recipe!
    This easy salmon recipe is a healthy salmon recipe.
    How to make Salmon:
    1 3-4 oz portion of Salmon, skin on
    1/2 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
    2-3 tablespoons butter, melted
    3-4 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 Tablespoon (about 1 large sprig) fresh Dill
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Preheat oven to 370f
    mix bread crumbs, dill, garlic and melted butter in a small bowl.
    Place salmon on silpat lined baking sheet, top with bread crumb mixture, bake to an internal temp of 145f and bread crumb mixture is crunchy and delish!

    Looks good! For a different take on the Panko bread crumbs add Parmesan cheese. I use it on flounder, cod and haddock.

      @@MichaelsEats Not sure Mike. Mom picked it up at SR on sale. Wild caught but as for east or west coast..no idea. Wasn't cheap even on sale either. :)

    Chilian farm raised is also good. I sell salmon for 7.99-8.99/lb every day at the market ( after all, my name is meatman...) My favorite way is sazon seasoning, couple squirts of Maggie, and dill, finished with lime or lemon juice... To tell when done, I take a fork, and pry in between the fibers, and when it separates 1/2-3/4 way to skin, I pull it. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes and devour! I don't mind "aldente" salmon. But I eat raw sushi, so all good to me!

      @@MichaelsEats just north of Harrisburg. At a market called Mutzabaughs Market. I've been a butcher there for almost 15 yrs, also help run our Seafood department. Me and my father in law bought some lemon eyes off you at the klash 2 years ago.

    I’m not a fan of fish eating in general but I used to do salmon and light fish fir the health benefits. But something to think about. In 2014 japan had a nuclear plant melt down. After that they continue to leak thousands of tons of waste into the ocean every year. It’s a huge problem. On the north west coast they pic up radioactive metal waste on the beach and have crews that go out every morning together and contain it. Also in 2016 the fishing and salmon industry almost shut down because the levels of acceptable radiation in fish was exceeding the government maximum allowable. They freaky with it bu doubling the allowable radiation to save the fishing industries. Idk at what levels it’s actually dangerous but I’ve personally stopped eating ocean seafood completely. I researched it and seen videos of a guy going into Walmart with a Geiger counter and it did go up in the fish section. It’s a video so I don’t know how scientific it was to test that way but it scared me a bit. Just something to consider and investigate if your family eats a lot of fish that’ve lived in the ocean. :/
    I used to Fry it with garlic and butter and rotelle bran diced tomatoes with habanero, it’s pretty hot but there’s something about the habanero that just melts into the salmon and makes it taste amazing and when it was just about done and pour the habanero and diced tomatoes on top and fry a little in the pan and then I would top it with slices of avocado and it was amazing if you like spicy food. I tried it with jalapeños and it was good but there’s something that just clicks between the flavor of the salmon and the habanero and avocado

      I’ve been to Japan 14 times. They sell salmon everywhere. I don’t think its an issue.
