I got some sugar cookie mix and made as the package said but I did the marshmallow fluff and vanilla frosting mixed together as a frosting from dollar tree and it was the best frosting I’ve ever had.

Have you ever made the cinnamon and applesauce gingerbread men? The dough is made from a mix of cinnamon and applesauce, and you roll it out just like you did the air dry clay. The bonus is, they smell like cinnamon, and make your house smell great!
I will have to try the cinnamon & applesauce cutouts, thanks for your suggestion 🏠🎄🏠 Salt dough is fun too. Last year I made salt dough cookie cutouts painted with satin and flat acrylic paints and trimmed with puffy paint and sprinkled some with fine white glitter. They look very real.

I planned to do my kitchen in a Gingerbread theme next year! But I might need to reconsider especially if I have the time to make those houses! Great job!

Like returning items, wrong size, stuff ordered online that maybe you dont have a receipt for, what to do with all those leftovers, what to do about duplicate presents, and WHAT THE HECK TO BUY YOUR KIDS! OF ALL AGES! THAT COULD BE AN ENTIRE SERIES! LOL. Girl gifts, guy gifts, stocking stuffers / each its own video! Lol... That kinda stuff. An entire video on an Xmas dinner - you could do it from table scape, to meal, to clean up and store leftovers. Then you could do recipes to make with the left overs! Best gifts on Amazon would be great! Even best discounts at the stores n stuff...Even a video on how you clean up after and store all your decor and organize it would be cool!

I decorate my fridge and dishwasher with the window clings. I have snowmen and red trucks from Walmart. My sons are grown men and notice how I decorate the fridge every year. ☃️🎄. When they were small I would let them decorate the windows. I enjoy your videos ❤️☃️🎄

You could also make mini carrots pretty easily with orange pool noodle cut up in little pieces and some green jute twine at top. I’ve done that for Easter. So cute!

I used small trees in the canvas bags, about ten inches tall total or less, and glued red and green candy kisses on the branch tips with tiny red and green bows. My co-workers loved them.

Hello Sweet Bethany. Some unique ideas for DIY's might be how to decorate each room in the house for Christmas....even the bathroom and bedroom and kitchen. I've seen a few where they have done cute things to kitchen cabinets. I don't have a lot of "flat space " like tables etc so sometimes I look for things that hang, pillows for the couch or bed etc, like you did with the gingerbread men! I have the cricut maker I've never learned to use so maybe teach us that too later in the year in between holidays. I love how you are so down to earth and say things like "I know nothing about how to sew" which I think there is nothing you can't do. I'm especially impressed how you can do all this with a baby!! You rock
I did the cone too with cone from my stash with thicker jute. Then added a small pine cone to the top & little fuzzy balls (not sure what they are called) all over plus pearls (no holes) & bakers twine in white & red. Looks so highend. I love the mini wreath. I've made so many of the bigger version. Wrap material around that matches the color. Alot easier than gluing to metal.

I love these!!! Every single one! You can sometimes avoid cracks in the clay by using a container to dry them in with the lid slightly offset so they don't get too much dry air at a time and dry too quickly. Drying too quickly or just being too dry is usually the cause of the cracks.

You could also make mini carrots pretty easily with orange pool noodle cut up in little pieces and some green jute twine at top. I’ve done that for Easter. So cute!

I used small trees in the canvas bags, about ten inches tall total or less, and glued red and green candy kisses on the branch tips with tiny red and green bows. My co-workers loved them.

Hello Sweet Bethany. Some unique ideas for DIY's might be how to decorate each room in the house for Christmas....even the bathroom and bedroom and kitchen. I've seen a few where they have done cute things to kitchen cabinets. I don't have a lot of "flat space " like tables etc so sometimes I look for things that hang, pillows for the couch or bed etc, like you did with the gingerbread men! I have the cricut maker I've never learned to use so maybe teach us that too later in the year in between holidays. I love how you are so down to earth and say things like "I know nothing about how to sew" which I think there is nothing you can't do. I'm especially impressed how you can do all this with a baby!! You rock

I did the cone too with cone from my stash with thicker jute. Then added a small pine cone to the top & little fuzzy balls (not sure what they are called) all over plus pearls (no holes) & bakers twine in white & red. Looks so highend. I love the mini wreath. I've made so many of the bigger version. Wrap material around that matches the color. Alot easier than gluing to metal.

You can sometimes avoid cracks in the clay by using a container to dry them in with the lid slightly offset so they don't get too much dry air at a time and dry too quickly. Drying too quickly or just being too dry is usually the cause of the cracks.
