I have a confession to make; I started watching this video and after the part where the camera zooms in, I stopped watching it thinking there was a bit of deceit in the video (long before I subscribed- two days ago-). You answered with a logical explanation, yet I forgot about this video until it came up on my feed again today; I just finished watching it, and I am glad I did because it confirms a comment I made earlier in another video of yours; you are brutally honest and I like that, which makes me want to continue watching your videos.

Thailand has such a rich variety of food in many glorious colours. The South East Asian nations have the greatest range of culinary styles represented, far more than in any other region worldwide. Girl has to eat, and it’d be a missed opportunity not to showcase the amazing food!

i've been watching your videos bc i was thinking i'll live vicariously through you HAHA. idk, i get anxious thinking about travelling alone. In my case, i like going to cafes bc nothing much can happen since i just have to sit and i fulfilled my purpose of going outside lmao. just wanted to blurt that out since this video is made me realize that people really are different.
Lived in Thailand for most of my twenties and although I spent most of my time in Chiang Mai, I also experienced living in Bangkok for about a year. I gotta say when I saw your coffee shop bill with the service charge and VAT on top, it reminded me how I hated that lol. There were lots of annoyances for me in Bangkok but overall it's a great city with lots to offer. I love watching your videos, it makes me feel nostalgic and want to go back there for a few months!

That piece of grass looked like dill, it's an herb that goes with salmon and all fish in Scandinavia/Nordic countries. Don't throw that away 😀, tear it into smaller pieces and sprinkle it on your food if you don't want to eat it whole.

There are a lot of things to busy oneself with in Thailand. Seeing, tasting, experiencing, can go on indefinitely in bkk but eventually you realize its a bit empty.

Phrom Phong seems to be a nice & cozy district. It must be a foreigner magnet, but damn, that traffic!
Do not fall for those instragramable cafes. Their target customers are cafe-hopping girls (someone who's acc carrying a whole wardrobe to stock pictures for IG). Personally, as a foodie, I avoid these kinda cafes at all costs due to the quality doesn't match the price. There's a saying in Thai "คาเฟ่อย่างแจ่ม กาแฟอย่างจืด" or "The vibes so slay but the coffee is a big meh". My favourite cafe in Phromphong area is "sometimes i feel". Their got an accolade from asia's top 80 as one of the best cafe in Thailand. Also there's a good sous vide'd pork shop called "kobe tonteki". Deffo worth a visit!!.

I usually stay in or around Phrom Phong when in Bangkok. Cafe Amazon is the best for a quick coffee, so much cheaper than Bucks. But for a proper experience there are so many brilliant coffee shops in Bangkok it is hard to choose. Try Sarnies 39 Sukhumvit 37 Alley, amazing coffee and pastries. Little pricier but I had breakfast there every single day when I was last in Bangkok in February 😂 barely a 3 minute walk from Phrom Phong BTS

@@joycehysin no fun in staying at home 😝 not in the best city in the World 🌍 When I say pricier, I mean than Cafe Amazon 😂 it’s worth it just for the coffee which comes with a menu of beans and blends, I like mine as strong as possible and Sarnies was the only place to match those needs 🤤
