I was at this show with my better half and our son Tom who was 10 at the time and named after Tom Petty. We love The Wallflowers but when they broke into Refugee and American Girl in the encore it was a magic moment for us. I wanted to relive it so I searched You Tube and found this video. Just before performing “One Headlight” he propositioned the audience to commit to either standing up or sitting down. JLD gave them the choice without knowing what song they were about to perform: w/e the audience chose, they had to commit to ONLY sit or ONLY stand.
