- Kutsinta is a steamed rice cake found throughout the Philippines. It is made from a mixture of tapioca flour and all purpose flour or rice flour, dark brown sugar, lye water, and annatto extract or powder. This process is steamed in small ramekins. Authentic kutsinta is topped with grated coconut or niyog in the Philippines. Kutsinta has a jelly-like, chewy consistency. It's an all time favorites of my fellow Filipinos.

I'd love to learn the Biko🥰 Lagi na lang malata ang gawa ko eh🥴 I use powdered gata diluted to water to make a cream or coconut milk.

Hello po ma’am new subscriber nyo po from Hawaii ok po ba kung 3times na I strainer KC po pag nagluluto po ako ay my dent sa gitna po ano pong cause pag ganon ty po

TY for watching and subscribing. As long as the dent is not too deep it should be fine. Just follow all my instructions and right ingredients/ measurements then it should be ok. If you’re using a metal steamer pls cover the metal cover with cloth that can absorb the water created from the steam. Even a bamboo steamer can have water on my kutsinta but just throw it. If you watch the whole process of my kutsinta then you’ll be ok. Again TY❤

Yes @annalizasablan pedeng pede po yan po ginagamit ko yana ng orig na sangkap dati.since kasi mnsan hirap Humanap ng cassava flour kya they substitute the tapioca flour.
