TY :@) that was great, Now off to see if I can find more Japanese weaves as I love this one and would like to see how intricate they get. Liked and Subbed. .
don't know if you would have the time to do this? BUT most of the videos I watch about chainmail all uses different size wire, as a welder I can get 1mm stainless steel wire for FREE :) can you do you demonstrate some designs using one size of wire PLEASE! and if you have can you give me the name of the video. Kiitos (thank you) from OLD Englishman living in Finland
Here is a full Persian weave that uses 1 size: th-cam.com/video/u1Ohq6Nq0u8/w-d-xo.html Other weaves you could do with one size are Byzantine, European 4-in-1, box chain, half Persian (typical weaves). Just do a search for those weaves on her site. Hope this helps some. (I'm not affiliated with her in any way, I just happened to notice your question :) )
Hi Roy, most of our weave tutorials, those that are straight weaves not projects, show multiple wire gauges. Some like this one use a combination and therefore there aren't as many samples, but where I use one wire gauge per weave you will find ring suggestions for 1.6mm, 1.2mm, 1.0mm and 0.8mm wires as a general rule. Your way of speaking and learning is so good that I have no words to describe it, love you so much❤
So very pretty. You have a real talent for metalworks!
These videos are soooo helpful thank you for clearly outlining the sizes you used
