Kristen Barenborg Fantastic episode Randy Brown! Will had a great time competing on Prodigy. I was blown away by warm welcome we received when we arrived on Saturday. The local bowlers and parents immediately welcomed us to the scene. There were no egos and no attitudes. Will never felt like an outsider. That spirit of inclusivity, support and encouragement by these young bowlers is a direct reflection of your leadership and love for the sport. We will definitely be back and hopefully get some of our Charleston friends to join. I'm so glad we made the trip. Right after watching your critique last night, Will went straight to the center to try out your suggestions. He came home very excited at the improvements he made! Thank you!
Oh, don't be fooled. There were definitely some egos. Starting with mine. LOL! But I'm glad you found the experience a positive one. I do try to encourage a welcoming attitude toward guests. Anytime we get a visitor to go to the trouble of traveling -- across town, across the state, or from out of state -- I always want them to feel welcome. Consider yourselves a part of the growing PRODIGY family.
1:51:59 If you're gonna see the winner, please watch this first... it's important. Edit: and no, it's not the winner. It's an announcement from Coach Randy about COPPA.
klwhitacre - The network has stolen a couple of innovations that originated on PRODIGY, so it won’t surprise me if they find a way to work this in. They have the technology to do it even better that I can.
Hey coach Randy, I'm curious during the elimination round why you don't reverse the order of the bowlers on the odd and even lanes, I.e., first bowler goes last on every other shot? Going last every time is actually an advantage in knowing what you need don't you think?
Mr Itolduso - I don’t know if it’s an advantage to go last or not. It certainly puts the pressure on you to perform. But if it is an advantage, all the more reason to do it - to help level the playing field for the lower qualifiers to give them more of a fighting chance.
Would be neat to see a breakdown of the bowling balls the kids are using! Its hard to spot a ball just by watching it go down the lane. Unless I can find this information elsewhere and just don’t know better. Thanks, I alway look forward to watching these.
It won't happen. I can't keep them all straight. And even if I had a list of all the balls these kids carry, there is no way I would recognize them when they're rolling down the lane. I can barely keep the Storm balls straight in my head. (That's the only brand I throw.) No way I could possibly know -- on sight -- what all the other balls are. Not just in the current line, but from the past five years. (Not everybody throws new stuff.) It's just too big of a task to try to keep up with it. I do occasionally mention the ones I know. But even then, I get 'em wrong every now and then. It's just hard to tell what they're throwing when all I have to go on is what I see on the computer screen.
Unfortunately, the machines were not well-maintained for several years, and as a result, many of them fell into disrepair. A couple of years ago, the center hired the guy who presently holds the position of Facilities Manager (head mechanic). His first priority was to get the place back running the way it should. One of the steps he took was to set the timing on the A2 machines (well,, some of them, anyway) to run slower, a little like the original A machines in some ways. This actually puts less wear and tear on the machines so they can last longer and run with fewer problems. I suspect this is why you see these machines running a little slow. We were getting a lot of 180 stops on lane 39 the day this was taped, and that's often caused by there not being a full set of 20 pins in the back like they're supposed to have. When an A2 only has 16 or 17 pins, you'll get a ton of 180 stops while the machine is rushing to load pins into the table.
BrownswickBowling my arm hurts because (I’m assuming) from poor form and I think I’d be handling the ball a lot better if I were to use proper technique!
I would love to load Badger into our lane machine and find out. Pretty good bet that the only ones who would fare well are ones who can dial down the ball speed.
@@ProdigyBowlersTour It's also under every scoreboard through most of the video. Hunter needs to go to 14+ pound balls. It's not just the weak hits, light balls have magnified human errors (over throw, over rev, pull, etc.)

Holy crap I remember bowling with some of these guys when they were 10!! Glad to see theyre doin well! And glad youre still with them Randy!
Eric Snelgrove - You should come by and pay us a visit sometime, Eric!
@@ProdigyBowlersTour will definitely have to. Is it still Saturday mornings for youth league at 10?
Eric Snelgrove - Yep.
They are bowling in Roswell, Georgia!!!!!
They all did really well:) prodigy is so encouraging for me to bowl better and the advice given during the show helps alot
Haven’t watched this to the end yet but I am rooting for Tristin!
Crazy how much the show has changed. I remember when Logan was still pretty young. Feels like I grew up with this show
Really like Christian's Swing plane change! Well done!!
It's been a while...looking forward to another great show!
I love the single ball elimination wild card to determine the 5th seed in the stepladder. It really makes it more exciting.
Joseph Bobbitt - The Wild Card Round is my single favorite new innovation this season.
These guys have come along way! Nolan bowled a 33 when he 1st started bowling. Great coaching along the way

Very cool pattern over-lay with where the ball is. I haven't even seen that on the network broadcasts.

What city and bowling alley do you guys bowl at?
LOL! You are a knucklehead. ;-)

Incredible episode and production quality as usual
This is bringing back memories
can't wait for the next episode
George Meenach - Friday. In the meantime, consider joining the PRODIGY BOWLERS TOUR Facebook group.
Coach Randy these kids are amazing keep up the good work
Nice vid love it :)
What ball is that on the back right of the ball return

BrownswickBowling thats okay! Figured I’d ask, i appreciate your reply and you do great work! Thanks
Happy new year! (and decade)
Was joseph throwing the alpha jackal?
How come it says "LOL" on the wall
I noticed the machines aren’t as fast like they used to be when it was Brunswick zone 😥

BrownswickBowling oh
BrownswickBowling Is there less 180s on trick or treat because more pins?
I wish that someone would set up a similar format in the Metro New York Area. Youth bowling is dying here.
Sounds like you're a candidate for the PRODIGY BOWLERS YOU TOUR. Email me. randy(at)prodigybowlerstour(dot)com.
BrownswickBowling will do, thanks.
Where are you guys bowling?
Reign Drops- Idk probably Idaho or something
Reign Drops - I wish I knew. :-P
34°02'02.3"N 84°20'19.4"W
Looks like Nolan is using 14 pound equipment. A lighter ball would deflect the way it did when he shot for the baby split.
irishpogi - Yes, he is.
I can't tell if the "Peach Tree" statement is fact or a really good joke.
Also, quality intro.
It is a fact.
My first live video :O
Where are you located?
In the Twilight Zone. Used to be known as Brunswick Zone. Now it's Twilight Zone Roswell.
I like throw both like Weber and Belmonte style right-hand
Hmmm...... I wonder where you guys bowl at?
You didn’t see the beginning

Hi! I’m having trouble changing my shot, I’ve always bowled with one hand no thumb and wanted to break that bad habit. Any tips?
Julian DonJuan - Why do you think of it as a bad habit?
BrownswickBowling my arm hurts because (I’m assuming) from poor form and I think I’d be handling the ball a lot better if I were to use proper technique!
Julian DonJuan thats pretty common with that style. 1HNT is really hard to control and is injury prone. 2 handed is most likely the easier switch
Josh is getting tall!
better than last episode lol it got more dislikes than likes!
25:01 Why, why, why switch balls?!?
Am I first?? TO A PRODIGY BOWLERS TOUR EPISODE??!?
AshBTW yes
I know the kid from Charleston
Nolan's form bothers me :/
Leo Yang - Sounds like a personal problem to me.
BrownswickBowling that backswing tho 😩
Leo Yang - Ever hear of a guy named Don Carter?
Does it matter no worry lol I seen alot of people and my friends would bowl straight no curve that ugly form lol.
BrownswickBowling i’m not saying he’s bad....i’m saying his form is not pleasant to the eye to say the least
Wonder how these kids would do on badger.
I would love to load Badger into our lane machine and find out. Pretty good bet that the only ones who would fare well are ones who can dial down the ball speed.
Where are you guys at? 😂😂😂😂
The beginning of the show, they state they are at Bowlero Roswell, Roswell, Georgia.
I believe Brock was making a joke, based off the sarcastic 4 cry-laughing emojis.
Where is this? Somewhere in Sweden?
Yes
No, actually Germany
Whoever disliked this is poopy
Poopy-head, I believe, is the medical term.
If only they had the roll off format in the PBA....
They do, just not with every tournament
Im 2 handed style and my style look crap although I can curve the ball will.....
me too
Yo bro everybodys form is unique in their own ways
Lol? I don't see how it is unclear in the intro where the tournament is without a rewind.
Cooper Gates - I don’t either.

I remember the last video you posted Nolan bowl a 203 game against Josh that was a good game that he has ever bowled in a while.
Prodigy bowers tour happy new year. Randy can i join prodigy bowers tour i will take my bowling ball and my wipe for my bowling ball
Is Nolan even wearing bowling shoes
Rashid my clan fans - Yes, of course he is. Although strictly speaking, it’s not required under the rules.
