Great stuff coach, thanks again. I'm glad John could join you again. His combination of ball speed and revs match up well. Some very talented young bowlers across the board.
I love when Hunter Follows thru with his arm motion!! Reminds me of Belmo! That young man will be a pro someday if he wants to ! Great Episode!! Thanks !!
Belmo is the best asset to bowling ever. He pioneered that very nice two handed style that everyone uses now in juniors. It is exciting and very accurate with all that power. They can hit their mark consistently time after time and they are very good at spares when they rev up that plastic ball on those spares. Many of these young kids will probably be on tour soon!
coach randy you was talking about the kid that throws a back up ball ...my husband bowled for 20 years and threw back up ball .. he carried an average of 220 plus across 5 leagues and bowled on travel leagues ...he asked to me to let you know please dont discourage him into not throwing a back up ball let it develope you may be suprised
You know what I think is very stupid? The fact that rock climbing on an indoor rock climbing wall is an Olympic sport now but not bowling or billiards!!! It is the dumbest thing ever!!!
Randy Love your vlogs. Kids are improving nicely week by week. I must share that the bowling alley I bowl leagues is closing at end of January. The house is Palos Verdes bowl. After over 60 years they are shutting down. It is hard to get hood house like P. V.
Super bowl LIV...first team to 40 wins. My guess is KC-40 SF-34 in OT. Either way, hope you savor the moment. I waited 29 years for my team to make it back. Can't imagine waiting 50 years. Regarding the 2:00 minute drill...I like it for the bigs, but it might a bit too frantic for the littles.
secretly rochelle - He said he only has one thumb insert and therefore felt he’d be at too great a disadvantage in the Two-Minute Drill. So he opted to sit this one out.
John Woolfolk - Can’t figure it off of this. Need to film him throwing a few shots with a high-contrast piece of tape on the ball that we can track and count the revs with.
I know it may seem like a lot but a format like the swiss open would be awesome to see the qualifying for as well. I know it is a lot but I would be completely ok with just raw qualifying without any editing because whenever I watch PBA events I like to watch qualifying first. Just a thought
Great bowling kids. I think these pin setters could use a little maintenance. Slowest pin setter I've ever seen. I'm glad our here aren't this slow.Good bowling anyways everyone.
Sadly, this house was very poorly maintained for many years and the pinsetters and other equipment fell into a terrible state of disrepair. The good news is, things are a lot better now than they were, say, three years ago. But it does seem like there needs to be a better method of reporting the problems so that the maintenance guys can repair them. Unfortunately, they have some people working at the counter whose knowledge about the sport of bowling would fit in a thimble with enough room left over to fit a Buick. As a result, they might take trouble calls from a certain pair of lanes and the thought would never cross their mind to write it up. So the problems that exist persist. It's annoying. But I'm not an employee of the bowling center, so there's only so much I can do. I mean, besides complain and be a squeaky wheel. I do that about as much as I can without becoming a real source of annoyance.
Go COACH RANDY!!! Making bowling great again for these young bowlers. Shot my highest series at my hometown bowling alley 729, after watching an episode. Weeks after 636, and 635. But always love watching an episode every time before bowling every week!!!
Hunters head needs to stay more still. It’s just gonna make more inaccurate and how is he gonna look at his target and get the ball there. Just something to consider
I completely agree. It's the next big thing he's gonna have to improve. That said, I have to say it's been my experience that these kids pretty much have to re-learn their approach as their bodies get bigger and stronger anyway. So it's not of great concern just yet, as it may work itself out as he grows
@@ProdigyBowlersTour aww man. He has the potential to get one and he showed it right there. On that final shot he didn't look nervous at all. He threw it great and that's a good thing. He didn't pull it or completely leak it either. Kids got game
That two-minute drill had me on the edge of my seat! Reminds of the one video where Jason Belmonte had 90 seconds to bowl as many strikes as possible! Also, Go Chiefs! I'm going for them for two reasons: 1. If they win, it's their first Super Bowl victory in 50 years. 2. They can teach my Bears a lesson about passing up on quality quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes.
BrownswickBowling Yeah it is a little more complicated like for example I used to take fast steps and almost 7 of them, but my friend bob who owns a pro shop helped coach me to shorten my approach and take slower steps and it has seemed to work
Looks like I'm in the minority on this one but I wasn't really feeling the two minute drill. Not saying I hated it. It was definitely interesting and different but I just wasn't in to it the way everyone else seems to be. Just my opinion though.🤷♂️
"He was the striking king earlier" Lol, yeah I was, but I wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea of having a practice lane for everyone, because that meant everyone but me got to warm up. lol
@@ProdigyBowlersTour Thats better than nothing, because when u havent thrown a shot in an hour or two and then get rushed, its difficult hitting the mark. Everyone else got to loosen up. Its fine though just thought it was funny.

BrownswickBowling I was so out of breath
At 15, Annalise is stupidly good. Could probably average 180+ with just a pancake ball.
For some reason i stopped watching this in late july, but today i decited that im back watching thus! Ive missed a LOT but yeah

Randy-tremendous and heartfelt intro to the video. Thank You.💔
As usual another great episode. See you in three weeks. Happy Super Bowl Sunday. Happy Groundhog Day.

Hey Randy, congrats on the KC Chiefs Super Bowl win! Oh, and this episode was great too!
I loved the 2 minute drill. You should do it more often.
I really enjoyed the two minute drill qualifying. And Coach Randy congratulations to the Chiefs on their Super Bowl win
Best show ever!!!
Can you do more of 2 minutes drills please
You liked the 2-minute drill, did you? I loved it. I'm pretty sure we'll make it part of this event each year.

Hey if the next episode drops on my birthday I’m not complaining :)

So I like the two minute drill but it definitely will play advantage to the kids who have a tournament style arsenal.
I dare say any format is going to tend to favor those with a bigger, badder arsenal.
Nice thing is I have 8 bowling balls
@@ProdigyBowlersTour I just meant in the aspect you wouldn't have to wait at any time if you had a bigger Arsenal.
Someone has got to sign these kids to a ball contract!
thats the roto grip ufo that christopher is using right?? thats one strong ball for sure.. :)
You'd have to ask him. I don't keep track of all the equipment all these kids are throwing.
Tenpinmaster no. It is the turmoil, mid range oil ball (not very accurate yet
Where was Tristin during the time this was recorded?
secretly rochelle - He said he only has one thumb insert and therefore felt he’d be at too great a disadvantage in the Two-Minute Drill. So he opted to sit this one out.
i was so rooting for Hunter!!!! Never count that kid out... he will bowl anyone anywhere.
True, that. He's always been that way.
What is johns rev rate? it looks high as crap
John Woolfolk - Can’t figure it off of this. Need to film him throwing a few shots with a high-contrast piece of tape on the ball that we can track and count the revs with.
Oh, I forgot! You’re a huge chiefs fan. Apparently the chiefs were that great
its the 39 and 40 curse

@brunswickbowling you guys should make another show so we can still watch the bowlers that have aged out of the prodigy league

I have no clue what you're referring to. There is a show called Drake and Josh?
