      I used a slurry primer from Marshall’s brilliant stuff or ultra scape only no sbr mix👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

    Tremendous Scott boy. A have a table but tbh mitres gas saw all day long for me cuts a few process out just take 47-48 of it right cuts quicker than table saw also. What suits tho. That job should be winning awards buddy respect lucky customers. Top notch.

      If I had a small,amount I’d of tried the petrol cutter but I had way too much to do so table it was Shame the saw didn’t do 48 degrees maybe I should mention it to them anyways washing line area next lol omg that’s gona be fun Not lol 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

      I’m going up to one of there quarries soon to see how it’s all taken out of the ground and made into materials of sorts.

      Easy 3k I’m investing for the content just hope it all pays off in the long run. 🙏

    Shame the Zoe don't provide an overcut on the bevel (47 degrees) most of my carpentry circular saws have that. I'd be whipping that tile saw of yours it into a local engineering firm to see if they could alter the end-stops slightly to increase the bevel a bit. Hats off though, Fantastic job and so much patience is really impressive to watch.

    18:39 you could add to the fence with a 2x1 for example. The blade would then travel past the tile. If you cut the packer at the same angle it will give more support. 👍

      Some times I spent days just prepping cuts in advance drove me insane with some of cuts that had to be recut as wasn’t up to standards
      New washing area Monday even more complicated and more mitring cuts for the planter around it ffs 🤦👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

    Great video m8 lt looks stunning iam doing my own d.i.y wall in porcelain just a quick question do you use the primer to tick the tiles on the wall or is there something else to use uav got loads of primer form laying my patio so just wondering if I past it on both sides of the tile that would be ok thanks for your help 👍

      All products especially darker tiles will warm up in hot temperatures but not enough to worry about 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

    Looks great but it must drive you crazy. How were you fixing the tiles to the wall? Was it primer on the tile and the wall and file adhesive inbetween?

      So marshalls primer alone spread on the wall and tile without any tile adhesive is strong enough? How thick do you apply the primer? Good technique👍👍

    With it partly being a flower bed will the moisture effect it? Looking to do the same job myself and people keep suggesting using backer boards for it. Are they needed?

      The inside of the planter had a plastic damp proof membrane to stop moisture penetrating through 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

    Use a packer, say 10mm, to push the tile away from the stop. That way your blade will cut through the tile more. 👍

    Hi mate, lovely work.
    Next week im going to tile my blockwork planter with slate splitface cladding,
    Do i just just use exterior tile adhesive ? Ive read people saying prime it with sbr, if so does that just get painted on in advance and can be dry.
    Ive also got to tile a concrete step, with porcelain do i just use the same method

      For the slate part yes something like that maybe sbr then the adhesive for extra stickiness and as for the porcelain use a cement primer and double butter tile and wall 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

    Great stuff as always. Quick question what would you finish a single skin wall 4-5 course high 34mtr long that follows the shape of the flower bed and is curving like a snake! Half brick on edge? Building it in the morning! Customer said to just finish frog down but thinking of protection. Cheers

    Great video as alwyas mate. What is the grout you use for your porcelain where you slurry it in then jet wash it off? Looking to try use it as got a 160 sqm job coming up and cant be doing with hand n knees by myself putting it in and cleaning it up. cheers fella

      Yeh screw hands and knees that’s what I’m saying next time too. I normally use marshalls exterior, jointing, grout, and I hear flow point is also good. 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 thx for watching

    Your attention to detail is amazing but the preparation in those mitres could ruin the business

      Day work rate for everything after the patio install I couldn’t price for all that detail work. I’ve been there 7 months already just a couple more weeks left finally 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

      The tile needs to sit flat otherwise it will move when cutting 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

    That must be a 40k job that surely ? I’ll be getting into some higher end stuff this year through some architect associates, I’m in South Yorkshire so it’s pretty grim 😂
