Happy weekend everyone! ❤ How have you been? I hope you're all keeping safe and having a wonderful weekend so far😊 I'd love to hear your thoughts on which piece(s) you love in this video, so please share in the comments below ⤵️
It’s nice to see some sophisticated options, I’ve had enough of frilly prairie dresses! At my age, I want grown-up clothes. Thanks for this selection, and the autumn leaves footage.
Hi Kimberly! 🙋♀️ Thanks for making the time to watch and comment, much appreciated 🙏 Yes, I'm the same. I don't mind ruffles and feminine pieces myself but also feel simple designs can work really well, particularly for an elegant approach ❤ Glad you liked the Autumnal cutaways too! 🍁🌿🧡
Wow, finally a simple, yet feminine capsule wardrobe. I absolutely adore the clothes you chose. I'e been looking for a capsule wardrobe inspiration for a long time, but I couldn't quite find anyone whose style would resemble mine - until now :) most capsule wardrobe videos would try to convince you that you need a biker jacket, or a white button down, or mom jeans. I don't like any of these things. So thank you! I could take your entire capsule and make it mine ;) I'd add a long cardigan though as they are super cozy for me plus I live in Poland and it can get super chilly in the autumn here :)
Hi Cat! 🙋♀️ Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and the lovely feedback, I really appreciate it 🙏 So happy you liked this capsule wardrobe - I find Autumn tricky for me personally, so to hear you liked the pieces is great 🤗 I think your suggestion about including a long cardigan is a very good idea as well (it's an item I don't have, but may have to search for one to add to my collection now!) 🧶 Appreciate you making the time to watch and comment and wishing you a warm & lovely weekend ahead in Poland! ☀️🇵🇱🍀
@@LaurenGraceHarding Since I only recently found you, I've been watching your other videos too and in one of them you mentioned you bought a puffer jacket/coat as you were surprised how cold it could get in Europe :) Hahaha, well, that's been my reality my whole life :D I always get frustrated when I see anything like "winter capsule" or "winter outfits" on TH-cam or Pinterest - usually what people show is totally not applicable to Polish winters. Try wearing an unbuttoned light beige coat, white sneakers & bare ankles and all that jazz when it's rainy, windy and like -5 degrees Celcius 😂
@@catgato5803 ah yes, it was a total surprise on my first visit up there! I also bought some boots as well on that trip as sneakers were not warm enough ☺ such a difference coming from Australian winters where 5 degrees celsius in Sydney is considered freezing! 🌬❄☃️ It sounds like those Pinterest boards are not designed for practicality/true European winters! I'm guessing you must be a master at the art of layering, then? You know, it's my dream to move to Europe soon...I'd love to experience a white Christmas with snow! ❄🎄🎁 It must be magical 💫
Hi Victoria! 🙋♀️ So happy to hear you liked the video and love hearing about which pieces you liked too, thank you! 🙏 much appreciated and wishing you a wonderful new week ahead ☀️🍀😘
Hi there Michelle, so happy you like it! I've discovered a ❤ for blazers over the last year or two and now I don't know what I'd do without them 😊 Thanks for making the time to watch and comment, hope you're keeping well 🙋♀️
@@LaurenGraceHarding I love them as well and I've been looking for a 3rd to add to my collection. I may have to check out that site since the blazers have such a well made and very classic look to them. Most blazers I find are very oversized and I find I prefer slightly fitted ones on occasion. Very lovely video Lauren, and I do hope you enjoy the rest of your evening as well!
I'd truly recommend checking out the Anna Thomas website, they currently have some winter pieces on sale and new spring pieces (for southern hemisphere) that have come in! Completely understand how you feel about oversized blazers too....The two blazers in this video are from the same store and I feel the cut (and fabrics) they offer are incredible, even though they're quite pricey, so definitely investment pieces 😍 thank you so much! 🙏
I don’t know about a capsule wardrobe, but I’m thinking of putting out maybe two capsules per season, so switching out about every six weeks. I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the things I bought out of lockdown boredom, and this would bring more things into rotation. Plus, the first half of each season seems to have weather like the previous season, but the second half has weather like the next season.
Hi Kimberly, I think your idea of two capsules per season is wonderful and quite practical too 💯 It would support the increased rotation of pieces plus suit the start - mid - end of the seasons....brilliant approach and gives me food for thought here too 😊 I'm new to capsule wardrobes myself but think your idea is excellent! Thank you for sharing and wishing you a wonderful Friday! 🍀
Thanks for subscribing and supporting Kimberly, it means a lot to me 🙏😊❤ And for the great suggestions....I will have a think and see if I can create something helpful!
Hi Sharon! 🙋♀️ Thanks for making the time to watch and comment here, much appreciated 🙏 You have asked a really good question, that has been on my mind too as I've got quite a few pieces I haven't worn during lockdown unfortunately 😔 Leave it with me, I will have a think about this 🤔 Wishing you a wonderful Friday and weekend! 😘
Oui chérie je vais bien merci bcp wt about you ? Tu as l'envie de visiter Paris ? J'espère que je puisse vous rencontrer un jour pour te donner un cadeau ...
Thank you. But dont people need to wash or dry clean these pieces? What happens when they are all dirtyp? Yes your pieces are wondwrful. My friend has a small wardrobe. And yes some of hers are from high school! We are in our 60s.. but they still work! She says she comes by bv the holes in her jeans Honestly... they are not premade holes. She made them over the years!!!
Hi Cindy 🙋♀️ My pleasure 🙏 I tend to do my washing weekly and the only items I would dry-clean are the blazers & trench coat. I don't wash my denim after each use (unless I have to) because denim loses it's shape the more you wash it. I hope this helps. I think everyone is different in their approach though! 😘
@@LaurenGraceHarding i live in the south where it is hot.. and my nature is to b hot and sweaty. Sometimes it can b 2-3 outfits a day. But i could stand to cut back to accordingly.

I really like all your pieces. My favorite outfit is the white skirt with the navy and white striped sweater, so elegant and classic!
Thanks Kimberly! I feel there's something so fresh yet classic when pairing white with navy....really happy you liked it 🤍🙏💙
Beautiful capsule. I loved all your selections. Very wearable pieces. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. ❤❤❤

Do you have any tips for decluttering your wardrobe? I'm lost on how to go about it because 90% of what I own has gone unworn because of the pandemic.

The second blazer you chose to include, who is the designer?
Hi Melinda, the designer name is Anna Thomas - an Australian designer. Her blazers are incredibly well designed with beautiful fabric ❤
What size do you wear in Sezane mariniere shirt?
I got the XXS in the Sezane marinière...it's quite a relaxed/boxy fit even in that size
