This makes me think of that and watching the mom cook butter chicken every Monday. Great family and both parents were drs. The grandma was 98 when I cared for her.
The crinkly little henna cones bring back fond memories for me. My friends and I used to do Mehndi together after school in Germany. My friend had been abroad to India and was telling us about all the different patterns and techniques. It was such a relaxing bonding experience.
The sigh and "aree" around 8:48 made me laugh 😂 i agree, seems like not a great idea to go to your exs wedding, but if thats what your friend wants to do you support them ❤ very relaxing, look forward to seeing more of your stuff!

I loved this. Growing up one of my good friends was indian and her mom used to do henna for us before school dances ❤
I had a friend from Pakistan, and on the bus, she brought out a second headscarf and taught me how to properly wear a hijab
