And I remember in the series The New Prophecy, Twilight, Leafpool said to Cinderpelt "How do you know what it is to love? You haven't wanted anything else besides being a Medicine Cat. " And Cinderpelt remembered Firestar. Cinderpelt could have been Firestar's mate but she was a medicine cat. I am pretty much just like Cinderpelt.
At least I'm not the only who thinks that Firestar would have loved Cinderpelt as much as Sandstorm. But when I first met Sandstorm, I didn't really like how she treated Firestar (or Firepaw) in the book "Into the Wild". And that's why I think Firestar deserves Cinderpelt instead.

I think there was a time when thistleclaw wanted to be mates with spottedpaw in the special edition. Heck, I also realized pinestar and leopardpaw were mates. Golden flower is older than tigerclaw. And Patchpelt was the father of swiftpaw. An elderly cool cat .

SPOILERS AHEAD!! So, basically... Cinderpelt loved Firestar (Fireheart) ever since she was made his apprentice, but obviously, she was still an apprentice---she couldn't confess her love to him. Firestar (Fireheart) was also in love with a warrior called Sandstorm. Because of that, he never knew his apprentice, Cinderpelt (Cinderpaw at the time), loved him. When Cinderpaw got annoyed because she couldn't go out of camp to investigate how dangerous a Thunderpath (Road) was. Because of this, she snuck out of camp and went to the Thunderpath where the (I think) deputy, Tigerclaw, waited. Okay, I didn't explain why their going to a road, did I? Tigerclaw had told Bluestar, the leader, to meet him by a withering pine tree next to the Thunderpath near Shadowclan (a rival clan)'s borders. Due to Bluestar being paranoid about all of her clan being traitors at that time, she didn't go, meaning Warriors had to see what Tigerclaw wanted. In my opinion, it wouldn't. Listen to the song! It is clearly a girl singing, not a boy. With firexspotted it would have to be firestar singing as Spottedleaf never felt true love for him because she was too strict of her duties. With cinderpelt, she still loved firestar even after she became a medicine cat and even after she died. So---listen to the song again and you decide on what ship fits it the most.

In my opinion, it wouldn't. Listen to the song! It is clearly a girl singing, not a boy. With firexspotted it would have to be firestar singing as Spottedleaf never felt true love for him because she was too strict of her duties. With cinderpelt, she still loved firestar even after she became a medicine cat and even after she died. So---listen to the song again and you decide on what ship fits it the most.
