If anyone was wondering the guy who made cryo utilities also made a TH-cam video testing the different docks and the ivolar is the best one, even better than the official dock. I bought it and I have no issues except for a wireless dongles not working unless you turn the dock around so that the port's face out.

For Wii games that have multiple controller options but default to the Wiimote + Nunchuk, how do I change toe controls for that if I don't want motion controls?
What about wiiware games? Im trying to play pokemon rumble, but its sees it as a classic controller connected and needs it disconnected, it will only play as a wiimote

Noticed you have 3D Dot Game Heroes on the steam deck. How does it play for you? I have been trying to get that game to work for so long that I just gave up. I even had it Patched with its latest update and still It freezes after the dream sequence and you go through a screen transition.

It may have changed visually but go into the “start menu” (whatever they call the bottom left hand icon on Deck Decktop mode) and launch Dolphin. You can change settings from there
Could you possibly do a metroid prime(gamecube) or trilogy (wii) to work with both thumbsticks please. And thank you for all the helpful vids on the steamdeck

I've had issues on Castlevania Rebirth where the A button both jumps and whips and nothing I do in the options seems to stop this. Any ideas?
Try rebinding in the steam OS menu and see if that helps

maybe i have done something wrong, but when i enter steam rom manager it only shows my emulators such as dolphin, it doesn’t show the game i added.
Make sure the parser is turned on

Freezes. It was one of the examples of “check compatibility before adding” as yes I’ve always had it freeze too

No. Just transfer them like you would on windows :)

My steam rom manager does not show my installed game files, they are in the right folder. What can I do
Are the file names normal names? Something the rom manager understands? Like “No More Heroes” and now “ax278blahblah”

Honestly never expect great performance. This is pushing the Deck well beyond what’s probably possible at full speed
