This is similar to Kindle which uses E-ink technology. But yes, Kindle displays only monochrome colour. I've been using Kindle for the past 5 years. I was amused about this colour e-book. Got a wow moment Instantly. But it short lived as I found this product didn't do well commercially. This display was created around 8 years back and it's no more in production now. Though outdated it's a good content for Bio-Mimicry!

@@Praveen-ne1on yes it will need some light to reflect. I think it will act as old black & white mobile like 1100 Or old digital watch... If u want to use in night u need a little bit light from any of the source....

To Those who are raising questions about the visibility of screen in dark, I would like to reiterate a fact that you wouldn't read a book in dark. If the purpose of mirosal screen is to use in ebook reader then it holds good.

yeah really delicious content. you must include the match + & -- of these technologies. like.. in these kind displays only supported in day times or it need any uv source nearby. we have to switch to normal displays at nighttime and these should be really rigid 'cause the gap bw the layers may distorted by hard physical touches. you included many living things who own this nature then why you cornered only peacock.
