I love your content and this is great. I am an adult beginner, really happy with how I am progressing, but feel like a lot of the content is so focused on how the best surfers approach 'performance' surfing that it feels a little inaccessible or far away for me. I will never surf like someone who started when they where 15 years old, never mind 5. Surfing has so many factors (reading the ocean, positioning, reading the wave, feeling the wave, body mechanics, etc....) and is so dynamic that it will take time to master, more so for an older person. I would love to see some stuff on beginners and intermediates doing it right, doing it well, for the level they are at, even if they aren't ripping. I know you did the thing on the ombe guy who got barreled at cloudbreak, that kind of thing. How to approach a wave on a less performance oriented board, easier lines than top to bottom but that still work.... Thanks for all the content.
Josie surfs with such style and grace, really relaxed stable cross steps forwards and backwards and quiet upper body. Love how the gentle lean on the inside rail for the bottom turn and the comments of kissing of the knees to point where you want to go with a narrow stance. Definitely one of the most stylish longboarders, love the longboard coaches eye content keep them coming! Honolua Blomfield, Soleil Errico, Rosie Jaffurs, Mele Salli, Kelia Moniz, Kelis Kaleopaa, Karina Rozunko and Kassia Meador also surf really well On the mens side Joel Tudor, Taylor Jensen, Phil Razjman, CJ Nelson, Al Knost, Antoine Del Piero, JJ Wessels, Tommy Witt, Harrison Roach, Corey Colapinto, Tyler Warren, Kai Sallas, Kaniela Stewart, Nacho Pignataro, Kai Takayama.. so many incredible surfers.
Josie is a fantastic surfer. Her father is a surfer too. She is from Sairgao Philippines and Philippine women are so graceful. I love watching her surf!
Great to see more longboard surfing break downs. I would like to see a break down of Taylor Jensen’s more aggressive longboard surfing style, in bigger waves, at some point. A description of performance longboard shape requirements for more pocket surfing in bigger surf would be great also. Thanks, great review as always 🙏
Harley Ingleby is also amazing world class performance longboarder as well Vertical top turns and surfing barrels with longboard which is constructed EPS core , down rail and hard edge at the tail And he rides midlength like short board!
Love to see Hayley Ingleby reviewed surfing a range of boards. I consider him one of the best technical surfers of all time. Analyse his backhand reds on long or shortboards.....amazing stuff

I’m a beginner surfer with a 12+ ballet, contemporary dance and yoga background. From my perspective Josie really keeps her hips in a neutral position (some would say tucked but that’s not quite the right word), spine nice and long, chest open but shoulder relaxed with her core engaged. I sincerely wonder if she had a dance background :)
Mikey February on a midlength single fin. It looks easy but most people I see on mids end up putting in side bites. You guys have one of if not the best surfing channels on TH-cam!
