There are days when things go well, and days when they don't. It's okay to take it easy and keep moving forward at our own pace! I'm cheering for you✊
@@sho111 Yeah sometimes the body and mind just needs rest. I actually felt really sick after I wrote this and taking a painkiller helped, so turns out something inside my body was affecting my motivation. It makes me think most people probably aren't lazy but just struggling with a bodily problem sometimes. Like need of sleep, food, or something else.

Greetings from the USA! That was an interesting point you made at the end. I think that is why it is important to focus on the journey and the daily benefits and not just the end goal. I have been consistently lifting weights for 8 weeks now and am not seeing the physical results I'd like, but I do feel better about myself and am feeling stronger. I will stay the course and hope the other results come with time.

I'm glad to stumbled upon your yt channel :) thank you for the words of encouragement, I think sometimes we all need those. Finland is close to my current location, but I never really appreciated what it can offer nor considered it as worth visiting, so it's good to hear someone else perspective. Traveling the word makes me happy and gives my strength on daily basis. I am currently planning my trip to Japan and also looking forward to every near visit of Korea. I sincerely hope you will be able to visit Finland soon!

The stuff you said about giving up when not seeing linear progress and hitting this plateau phase... Is just exactly what I've been struggling so hard with lately. I felt stagnant in my progress learning Japanese, doing TH-cam, and learning data science. To be honest, I've been so close to giving up on my TH-cam channels, and I've been taking month long breaks from Japanese multiple times.. But you made me re-evaluate and I decided to keep making videos. It's just really hard when you spend a lot of time and realize nobody really cared to watch it. So, another reason to make this comment is to show you that your words really motivated a stranger on the other side of the world! I hope my own channel can do the same... Actually it already did, someone once wrote to me as well, but I forgot.... So I'll try making more videos :) Maybe switch up my strategy a bit. And I upped my Japanese study time to 1-2 hours per day and feel like I'm making visible progress now. Let's try to keep going and celebrate all the small wins... 頑張ってね～ And greetings from Denmark (not Finland, but close hhh)

Hello. I just found your YT channel. I'm looking for information about Japan because I'd like to get to know this country. What interests me is everything that is not stereotypically available to foreigners. Less the phenomenon (with full respect), more the views or thoughts of Japanese people. I live in Central Europe, so all the contrasts that result from cultural differences seem interesting to me. In your video you mentioned motivation. I think drive is important because without it we wouldn't have developed. In Europe there is a lot of pressure for individual success. However, I also think it's a great skill to sometimes say to yourself: ok, I'll leave it because it's not for me (please don't take this to heart, I'm only talking about myself, I'm not judging your approach). In psychology there is a self-determination theory (mostly dedicated to intrinsic motivation and its elements) maybe you'll find this useful somehow on your way. Wish you luck with YT and Norway :-).

自分の期待しているイメージとはかけ離れてしまったり、周囲からはなかなか評価されなかったりしますが、それでも継続して努力しなきゃですね
