I found your channel out of curiosity and after watching this video I wanted to take a second to reach out to you (I have no idea if you're actually going to see this, but I'm trying anyway). I'm a young man, 26, but I've lived more life in my time then most people do in 80 years. I've been to jail, I've been an addict, I lived in Ecuador, I've broken 5 bones and I watched the first love of my life fade away and die because of heroin. I've seen more pain in my life then I care to remember...and most of it is blocked out anyway, but I heard a saying in rehab once, "Religion is for people that are afraid of going to hell, spiritually is for people who have already been." And that really resonated with me because I felt like I had been through hell. Like I had lost everything... because I had. Like I was broken into a million little pieces and there was no one to glue it all back together so I tried to fix it myself and I fucked it up; I put myself back together wrong somehow. And for years I had to deal with that reality, that I was a fundamentally "broken person" and there was nothing to be done about it. But I realized that that wasn't the case, that I could be better than before even without those things I had lost. But I never would have gotten there without some support. I guess what I'm trying to say, in a round about way, is that if you ever wanna talk, I'm here to talk, and to anyone else that had read this far as well, you can email me at jtdowd6@gmail.com and I'll talk to you all day, about whatever. Honestly I'm kind of lonely and I'd enjoy the company...but I like talking to people (I work(ed) in a hotel so talking and listening was a part of the job). I like to listen.
