Since you asked… I would say the next video I would Like to see would be about how you choose different spots to fish on small stream’s. How you change up your tackle and rods to suit these different types of situations especially when flow is down. Maybe a video for closer to end of summer…
Thanks for the tutorial. Can always learn something new. My favorite is how fast Jordan talks in these tutorials. Love it. Samsonite. I was way off
As always, thank you Jordan! For trout fishing for me (never caught a wild trout) There’s some large muddy rivers, or some stocked ponds or lakes. (Trout and salmon don’t naturally breed in North Dakota) if you could teach me how to catch a trout or salmon in in muddy larger rivers or not the best clarity lakes, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks again!
Many Thanks Jordan !!! Small streams trout fishing 8' tp 10' wide !!!!

It's the best in my opinion.
Watching from the uk love this channel
Are you guys going to do any smallmouth fishing videos?
I love bass fishing.
Thank you again for making these videos. And thank you for the Gerber Scissors that you gave me about 4 year's ago. And yes, I have kept my promise. I cut all my tag ends in to my tackle box. I have caught some nice trout and my first Large Mouth Bass with the help of your videos. I wanted to thank you properly. So I stopped by your guy's wearhouse today bought some gear to go salmon and steelhead fishing this weekend. I also dropped you a Jar of 130 proof Moonshine. So I would stop by a pick that up. The guys that were there be looking thirsty. Thank you again. Cléi from Alaska
I'm a dry fly addict. I'll keep doing it even if I know that I'll get skunked, not deterred by the negative consequences.
If you tie a slight longer, and heavier than trout-type tapered fly leader, to the spincast or spinning reel line, then a spinning rod can cast a dry fly. It can also 'bow-cast' pretty well, when back casting is problematic in the brush. You can carry a fly reel with fly line and tapered leader which often fits on a spinning rod, if you need something for wind or longer distances. A bobber is always an option. The all-mono with a fly leader set-up is a super delicate presentation that will only work at close-distances, but it is much nicer than actual fly line for ultralight dry fly fishing, imho. I'm usually targeting trout up-close, on creeks that you can sometimes cross without getting your feet wet, using flies that are between size 18 and 22. Don't forget the Gink-brand fly floatant. Top-water fishing is a gas. I've even hooked fish by simply having the fly hovering /dangling over the pool - watching them jump for it is the best.
Love the videos guys! Keep up the stellar work! Pay no attention to the critics. The fans love this stuff!
❤❤❤ loves it as always ❤❤❤
I know you guys probably get tired of seeing my comment on the Thomas lure but I've done them all little Cleo's, cast Masters, rooster Tails, Meps, Blue Fox ect. Nothing beats the buoyant Thomas lure...
I have good luck with the black and yellow spoon
My favorite lure since I was a kid it’s all I would fish for trout
Like always Jordan killin it in these vids, gotta love it 👌👍
I tie nail-knots. Two wraps, and back thru the original loop. A nail-knot is used to connect lure, fly, or to build tapered leaders. The nail-knot attaches the finer line to the fatter line. The fatter line is terminated with a double over-hand. I can cut the finer mono, if I slide the the knot up the over-hand tag (held with hemostats). That way I don't shorten the fatter line, when I'm changing out my rig.
I always look forward to seeing Jordan do an Addicted Fishing video. I'm a huge Panther Martin fan, when not using flies. Thanks for uploading!
Hey Jordan. I really like fishing and my favorite thing to do is take a little inline spinner, ultra light celilo, and catch brook trout up in the Olympic peninsula mountains.
Any recommendations on alpine lakes up there? I’ve yet to venture out there to fish. But I definitely will be soon.
@@logan5466 I would recommend charlia lakes, I'm going there in August, and also home lake. I went there a few times. They are hard hikes but very good fishing and and also beautiful scenery
Have you ever put a tiny bit of Power Bait on the hook while using spinners Pro/Con to doing so
How about another lake tutorial for trout?
Getting my Tuesday fix with Jordan and ADX🤘
We need a good lake trout tutorial
Good brother❤❤❤❤
I caught it…. That nipple shot….i love it…your frikin hilarious!!!!😂😂
What reel are you using on the celilo and sst as well what type of SST rod and what lbs test of braided line ?
I remember when those ceymars had bright orange braid on them 😅
You guys should come to Ohio and fish mad river for brown trout
Jordan/ I like using rapala floating plugs in blue for trout
I’d like a video on the best way to fish trout in high mountain lakes if that’s any different then trout in large lakes
Can you tell us which flys you were using? Is it a kit or a company you can buy
The definition of frustration: watching a rainbow follow your spinner right up to the edge of the shoal, then kicking off without a hit.
What do you do if a fish swallows your hook and you can’t get it out while keeping the fish in the water ?
cut the line and tie a new hook.
Hey great content have learned lots from you guys and always enjoy watching. Just a viewer note would be to get a wireless mic and/or find a better way to edit in the audio by only using it from one camera, not both gopro and person filming you. Just a note, tight lines!
Yes a new Addicted video
Crankbait in the river or creek
Can you send me the exact rod/reel set up you have? I tried looking but there’s a lot to select from. Thank you
Jordan’s forgotten item to sharpen the hooks before each presentation.
Hey Jordan,
Curious to know why you don't use a Trilene knot?
Same as your basic fisherman's kno, but puts two strands of line on your hardware.
P.S. If you ever want to sell on that Fenwick. Hit me up.
I noticed yall never talk about small plugs for trout. I use an f4 flat fish or a 2.0 maglip in frog pattern. Its DEADLY on small river rainbows
Class is in session with Mr. Knigge! 🎣🤙🏼

SAMSONITE!!!😂
Quick question do you ever put bait on your spinners? I've used most of these methods before but I've normally put a bit of work or nightcrawler on my spinners to up the chances or is that not a great idea? Where I live we are mostly fishing for brook, brown, and rainbow trout if that makes a difference.
Just use a spinner with the feather tail I’ve been having better luck with those I thing it helps the presentation a bit
I always tip my spinners with a piece of worm and I would highly recommend it. A quarter to half inch piece is all you need.
First here
I think for someone like me wanting to get into it and try to catch one this is great ! So screw that guy taking about this is the same video 😂🤣
Heads some guys if it’s 80s 90s during the day don’t bother for trout they are cool water fish you’ll have better luck in the cool days
I would also add trout rod setups do not need braid! 6lb ultra green maxima mono fits the bill, and u can and have reeled in 6lb plus fish. The braid is totally unnecessary and a hinder in a trout rod setup, if your nervous about 6lb, bump it up to 8lb.
The point of using braid is the lack of elasticity. Increases the user's sensitivity. Mono works fine, but it's really not the same.
@@shaneallen2685i know the difference between the two, i use braid on my salmon and steelhead rigs.again totally unnecessary rigs. A trout setup, as reasons mentioned before
Fluorocarbon has entered that chat lmao
How many pounds for the leader?
Mainline or tip? For which setup? Rewatch the vid lol
@@GBTWC 15 pounds
Hash tag cut your tag ends those suckers are Like Jordans long hair
Is no one going to talk about his nipple pokin out of the hole😂 i looked away for a minute and looked up and thought he had fuzz or something on his shirt.
Another great video but why is Jordan's nipple poking though his shirt??? HAHA!!
nice tiddler m8
No offense but if you actually want to catch trout put a worm on a size 6 and two split shot and let it sink to the bottom of the hole. Cast 45 degrees up and keep your rod tip up and feel bounce off bottom as it flows down and boom mondo on the line. Adjust split shot according to depth and speed of river. I’m not sure why this guy never uses live bait. Also cd-5 to cd-9 rapala countdown trout color whip that thing down stream as far as you can and reel it in and it will bounce along bottom and give it the SLIGHTEST jerks to make it look dead and boom mondo trout, bass or pike. Like I said no offense but I don’t see you laying in to any fish in these videos and you seem to be in pnw and should have some good fishing idk though
Also just run fluorocarbon on the whole spool like 8lb and forget all the leader bs
Mr.Jordan rubber hooks
Thanks Jordan. Tell Little hello and give him a belly rub for us
I would love to see better results. Spending my time watching, then nothing. And don't say that minnow at the end counted
I get that they're sponsored by okuma, but don't ever say the SST is a high end rod when it's not even a mid tier rod lol. SST is like bottom 5% of trout/salmon/steel rods lol
Another trout? Are we getting re runs?
@@TheSurfingSushiChef nope, new video!
This video, again? How many times are you gonna post the same exact video???
Why did you click on the video then buddy
And I’m still gonna watch it, babbyyy 🎉
😂. I’m still going to watch it.
That's TH-cam dude lol same thing with deer hunting videos. Same content same time every year lol.
They do this video 5-6 times each season, it's the most searched video so it helps the channel with the algorithm so why not, they put out plenty of original content on the regular
