Bro, India is not only Metro and Big Cities, linked with Super Highway. Drive in three figure speed is not possible all the time in NH and State Highway. There is also a speed barrier of 80, 90 & 100 in many highways. So in my point of view car which easy run at 80-100 kmph is good.

A 5days work will take atleast 2months to sort out. Still wanna buy Hyundai - Go ahead and feel the trauma yourself.
Neither punch nor exter are SUVs. Both have similar dimensions, similar engine BHP (power), similar Torque (capability to pull load). So dont judge them with the parameters of an SUV. These are raised hatchback, primarily city cars which can ride better over rogh roads and potholes. Also don't compare them for off-roading capabilities. So, you (middle class) should focus on reliability , comfort and after sales service else any unreliable car can burn holes in your pocket. A car should be reliable and should not leave you stranded in the middle of no where. If you are rich, you need not to even consider this segment. Hence when you are buying or considering these cars you are concerned about the total cost of ownership and also concerned about some premiumness. Exter has proven , most refined in class engine with best fit and finish. Punch feels a bit heavier but thus lacks the "punch" . Also 3 cylinder engines doesn't let you feel that premium. Looks are subjective. So kmow the category and then compare parameters. If you think of off-roading then go 4x4. If you think of compact SUVs then consider Creta, XUV or Nexon etc

Hyundai cars like Creta, Aura etc have excessive loud horns that creates noise pollution & distracts a person who is walking on road or at houses. They have so loud horns that looks like Some Local train, express or mail train is coming on road😀. The horn sound resembles a Train horn that's as loud as to alert a person crossing the tracks but this much loudness is not required on road as it's a Car & not a Train or Truck!
Hello sir I have buy a brand new Hyundai exter on 20.10.23(payment date). The dealer made home delivery ( 22.10.23) but unfortunately in the way car meet with a accident by the delivery boy. They have taken the car by RSA and claiming insurance. Now what I will do?( Will accept the car after repairing/ replacement of part or refused to accept) Please suggest

Great review... I feel it does not look like hatch back at all.. It's long and tall and front looks bold more like hyundai Ionic 😍🥰.. The interior looks premium with the sunroof and back seat recline angle is tooo comfortable❤.. Just booked Exter SX on weekend... My first car 🥳

Great review video. I have this question:- there are a lot of talks about how minimum the gap is between the back tyres and the body. Is that actually an area of concern? Will it get affected more if there are 3 people sitting at the back and the car is fully loaded with luggage?

Even I have a same question regarding the suspension. Recently I've seen a video on TH-cam, a TH-camr has removed rare shockabsorber and installed spring suspension and also he installed coil buffer to the spring suspension,then car was lifted up 2inches. Did a test drive of exter last weekend in Bangalore. It’s beautiful, smooth car, loaded with features. Few cons I felt - no driver arm rest, suspension is soft, plus its a new car so not sure about safety ratings

I own punch dazzle pack for more than 1.5years.. i m very happy n satisfied with my car.. But still exter looks more promising.. if it was available at that time.. i might have considered buying it.. But venue's 1K NA engine is very under powered.. if exter's engine is better than it will surely steal the market.

Why don't you even consider kiger or magnite which according to me is way better than these fake suv. I have seen you promote tata and Hyundai too much inspite of people complaining about bad service quality which tata is reluctant to improve. Do you want us to buy a car with horrible service quality? And how can you rely on hyundai's built quality just by hearing Hyundai officials. They said this for creta as well and we all know creta split into 2 halfs in an accident. Whereas I cannot find any fault in renault, it has good built quality and better service experience than tata, it has CVT, 4 airbag, all features and lastly way more power. This cannot be called or compared to an SUV 😂 ... It's a tall boy model similar to WagonR ... With up to date latest features. This is more likely to compete with WagonR rather than Tata punch. From a sales perspective, this car would be more driven towards lady drivers as it provides good road presence. Almost a generation ahead of WagonR no doubt. It could attract more lady customers for Urban cruising. Perfect for office work.
Designwise, Hyundai has done a good job in the Front for Exter. But the rear looks very ugly. Just like the rear look of Maruti Swift with an oversized grill like design with Hyundai logo. Totally disappointing rear side.
Note: Hyundai doesn't give spare parts directly through showroom. They have stopped giving spare parts from service centre. There are tie ups done with other retailers having bad customer services. Doing similar to Honda policies.
People buy Hyundai for it's design and comfort they forget about safety. Tata punch is 5 star rated . I would like to take my family out in a safe car any day over a good-looking car.

It is proved that increasing airbags is not going to enhance safety as Kia Carens with 6 airbags has got less safety stars. Hence strong built quality is required. Otherwise VW, SAKODA, Mahindra and TATA would habe only increased airbag count instead of working on platform.
Alert : 6 airbag provided by Hyundai....actually some corrections needed, six airbag is compulsory by Indian government in every car after September 2023....

There could be 2 reasons for providing 6 airbags
1. They truely care about safet of passengers.
2. They don't trust their build quality

Did a test drive of exter last weekend in Bangalore. It’s beautiful, smooth car, loaded with features. Few cons I felt - no driver arm rest, suspension is soft, plus its a new car so not sure about safety ratings
Tyre 15 inches,arm rest missing also i feel rear seating 3 people cannot sit comfortable..main thing 5 star ncap rating is missing instead 6 airbags standard they have provided
For ncap rating you need to wait for an year, but overall i feel its a good package with a considerable amount of cons
Those are crying for build quality as per new guidelines gncap car with 2 air bags does not get 3star so called car with more stars are 3 years old ,as hyundai saying improvemwnt in exter build quality and extra saftey features it will score better in ncap rating..what if it score above 4 it will punch all its competors

I have seen you promote tata and Hyundai too much inspite of people complaining about bad service quality which tata is reluctant to improve. Do you want us to buy a car with horrible service quality? And how can you rely on hyundai's built quality just by hearing Hyundai officials. They said this for creta as well and we all know creta split into 2 halfs in an accident. Whereas I cannot find any fault in renault, it has good built quality and better service experience than tata, it has CVT, 4 airbag, all features and lastly way more power.

This cannot be called or compared to an SUV 😂 ... It's a tall boy model similar to WagonR ... With up to date latest features. This is more likely to compete with WagonR rather than Tata punch. From a sales perspective, this car would be more driven towards lady drivers as it provides good road presence. Almost a generation ahead of WagonR no doubt. It could attract more lady customers for Urban cruising. Perfect for office work.

Designwise, Hyundai has done a good job in the Front for Exter. But the rear looks very ugly. Just like the rear look of Maruti Swift with an oversized grill like design with Hyundai logo. Totally disappointing rear side.
Note: Hyundai doesn't give spare parts directly through showroom. They have stopped giving spare parts from service centre. There are tie ups done with other retailers having bad customer services. Doing similar to Honda policies.

It is proved that increasing airbags is not going to enhance safety as Kia Carens with 6 airbags has got less safety stars. Hence strong built quality is required. Otherwise VW, SAKODA, Mahindra and TATA would habe only increased airbag count instead of working on platform.
Alert : 6 airbag provided by Hyundai....actually some corrections needed, six airbag is compulsory by Indian government in every car after September 2023....
