Good writing combined with proper pacing could've made the Long Night, you know...feel like a long night. We instead ended up with the Short Night.
The night king should’ve at least got to kings landing, maybe even further south... and then dany and Cersei could fight as they race back to the throne

I hadn't seen even one second of Game of Thrones until about a year ago, when I finally watched this video, and then, just to see what all the fuss was about, I finally watched the clip from season 3 episode 4 when Daenerys gets her Unsullied Army. Needless to say, I began with season 1 episode 1 pretty much IMMEDIATELY after that lol and I've been hooked ever since! I thought it would be stupid, overrated, just like every other new popular thing that has come out recently, but BOY was I wrong!! Game of Thrones is, by FAR, the best television show I've seen in years. The special and visual effects are almost perfect, photorealistic, and the story and characters are written better than most movies I've seen. I started out as a cynic, but I'm a true believer now. I am glad that I waited so long though, until 7 seasons had all already been released. That way I could binge the entire show, from the beginning all the way up to the season 7 finale, and now I only have to wait, with everyone else, for the final season to drop in April, 2019. (Re-watching it all over and over in the meantime)👍

Rickon might just be a victim of the show's "aging up." Not that many years in-universe have progressed since Game of Thrones started, and in the books, Rickon is three years old at the start. He just doesn't have many lines or deeds to adapt into the show because.. well, no one cares what a three-year-old thinks about life.

even tough the beginners guide is sarcastic, I still think they didn't spoil much if you think about it, they don't show much... they don't show significant deaths... maybe just the incest,dragons and white walkers, but everybody knows that by now... The narrator is in his nineties. He is good as the basic narrator, but he has NO BUSINESS doing the most of the voices. especially the female voices. His Dany chapters made me cringe.

It's a bit try hard and actually kind of boring. Fixates on the dragons. States the obvious that there's not enough time to show everything. Pretends everything is so badass. Keeps skipping back and forth between Starks and Dany. Not sure who put this together but they could have done a way better job with someone as fun as Jackson.
