Bought the frozen pack recently, they shipped it all the way to Penang but still tasted very good. Definitely satisfied my cravings in this time when can't even travel.
It so sad even people from Klang do not know what a good bak kut teh is..While Seng Huat and Teck Teh is the original, others have gotten really famous. True old timers will know the best for many years was at the Klang Hokkien Association's Canteen that stopped serving some 15 years ago. Frankly most shops are a very very poor quality compared to that gold standard then.
This restaurant is so-so only. It was way better when the Dad was still operating it those days. Standard dropped a lot. now it tastes just like any normal BKT place in Klang.

In general, Malaysia = Black (Hokkien style - Chinese Herbal) and Singapore = White (Teochew style - White pepper)
