If this is based on rng i would probably would get between 0 and -2 forma per run, so I think im not going to be trying this method.

this is how you get burned out of Warframe, just run fissures, do sorties etc and rush/buy forma when you need lol while passively crafting.

If you guys have no luck on finding this music room and got the Arborifoms Charger room instead, try to charge those 3 console to open up the tall door in the middle then break the container (also has a chance to spawn orokin cache inside the tall door). Hope it helps. Cheers.

I know I'm a couple weeks late for this, but with this forma farming method, the forma is affected by the resource doubling booster. so if you have a kitty or a login or its double drops weekend or you bought a booster, then this method becomes significantly more advantageous.

If you're willing to waste hours and hours on playing warframe. Sure go ahead and do this method for farming extra forma. BUT HERE'S A REMINDER, two things depend on RNG. actually FINDING the music puzzle room and managing to GET A FORMA from the container after you COMPLETE the puzzle. If you have bad rng like me, you wouldn't even be able to find the music puzzle room after hours and hours of LUA,CROSSFIRE. If you manage to be lucky however, you could get a decent amount of forma in a hour. However I recommend you don't do this as it is extremely time wasting/depends on RNG.
Don't say that this is extremely time wasting, even though you are pretty unlucky, it can still save a lot of time, better than waiting 24 hours for one Forma. As you can see in the video, I had bad luck in the beginning, I had to play this mission over and over again, sometimes 5x in a row for just 1 room.. but in the end it was worth it. I got like 7 Forma in just a few hours.
Than get good stupid and don't drag every one down with you :V

blubat152 so the big thing here is, are you at the point where you need forms to progress with what you want to do? if yes then this is the only method of getting forms outside of either dropping plat or crafting it, so farming rare void containers is it. and you can only craft 1 at a time taking 24 hours, so if you're really hurting for forma and you already have a stack you cracked from relics and you don't wanna drop your plat, well this is it man. like yeah it sucks that its so heavily rng based like when I was farming for Octavia, took like 15 runs to get this room, but this is the only other way if you really need that forma.
You don't need to spend a full day. You could just get 1 that you might need to craft a weapon or something within 20 minutes

my forma method.... Farm lua spy for blood rush, sell for 35p.... buy forma bundle (3 forma) for 35p... the only hard part is learning the spy rooms, but just look up videos, and u will memorize thru practice

Another thing look out for weird containers in the derelict they have a good chance of dropping forma
Is forma rare in the puzzle and slow to craft to artificially slow down applying it to weapons, craft clan weapons and build the dojo itself simply due to lack of I emphasize endgame, content? Cause I can't see a real reason for a single forma to take a full day, plus you can't craft duplicates of any same item at once making possible ak-weapons when you don't want to use a single variant of it you own to craft, take twice as long.
And here's me thinking I can spam a extermination and get them. Cannot stand doing those trials. :(

Well, although this method is viable for Forma farming, my RNG is terrible. I'm just gonna stick with fissure farming and get forma BPs and craft them. XD

dude thanks you rock ive been playing for like 2.3k hours now and i had 0 fcking clue this container dropped forma (also i have broken it around 10 times after doing the puzzle in the past before knowing it drops forma and i didnt get any xD so my rng is shit BUT TNX MAN since i always run out of god damn formas i will be using this method A LOT!

I normally don't like videos without commentary, but these are exceptionally well done.
Yeah, seems like you're gonna get a forma almost every time the music room spawns, assuming it spawns, and assuming none of those sentient drone things show up to ruin your day, ALSO assuming you're actually using Equinox or Ember, but some people are gonna be using something else so it takes that much longer, however if you're soloing and one of those drones shows up then you're just screwed.

You should throw a quick link to the ember/equinox builds you used tho. WoF & Maim i guess but beginners could wonder about it and be interested to see the details.
I spent way too much plat rushing Formas in the foundry. Than again, I sold a lot of Ember Prime sets so easy come easy go applied. Nice guide.
This method is honestly worthless and you're gambling 2 possible RNGs with one enough to guarantee you won't get that Forma against the reliable relic system which guarantees a reward. Basically you're betting on a 1/3 chance to get the Forma dropped from Lua against a 100% chance of getting a reward with relics, even if it's not a Forma BP. And yes I know that with a Forma BP, I need to wait 24h but at least I'm certain I'm getting one through this method, unlike this one. You can also sell unneeded prime parts for plat to then maybe rush your Forma (dumb) or buy a Forma pack (less dumb but at least you get 3).
I did 40 runs of around 2 minutes, basic maths gives me 1h and 20 minutes on that. I only got 6 rooms and none of them yield a single forma. And I know this is RNG but with 1h and 20 minutes I get 16 chances to get a Forma from guaranteed rewards with a Survival/Defense fissure mission and a lot of Lith have Forma BP as common so you have big chances of getting a Forma. And unrefined relics still have a chance to yield rare stuff which, depending on the relic, can give you a significant amount of plat.
tl;dr You're gambling with your impatience a 1/3 chance to get an unguarenteed reward against a guaranteed system that asks you to be patient.
Oh God, for a second I thought it was Oberon Prime Build.. Now we wait more 2-3 days.. For see what next.

gr8 b8 m8 after 10th tries of trying to find music puzzle room i finally got one ... and no forma droped RNG on top of RNG no thanks i rather farm prime junk and pay plat for Forma bundles this is 10x faster and more reliable method of getting crafted forma
So, i ve runed the maths under this assumptions:
-Music room counts as a normal big room
-There are 4 other big rooms and the 7 drift rooms (a total of 12 big rooms only 1 good one)
-3 Big rooms appear per mission on Plato (btw, on pavlov is 2 big rooms per mission, so just run plato)
under this assumptions you have a 92.37% of not getting a forma
Options:
a)This bastard is super lucky XD
b)The drift rooms dont count as big rooms and thus not interfere with music room spawning in which case the odds are:
79.92% of not getting a forma, still leaving this guy as an RNGod
Do this with friends: one kills enemies with ember or equinox, one does the puzzle with volt to find room faster and one with Ivara prowls and kills Sentients for a possible (but very very low) chance to get a Vengeful Revenant, which you can eventually sell for a lot of plats.
No room? everybody rushes to extraction. No forma? Same thing. No mod? This is Warframe, stop complaining.
Do this over and over again and you will never leave the mission completely empty-handed
I think getting forma thru fissures is a lot better. At least you have a great chance of getting the bps than running like 4-5 exterminates for just 1 forma. Yeah it takes time but it's guaranteed.
That puzzle room's spawn rate is way too low..It's only showing up every 5-6 runs. Best to farm the plat and buy the bundle of 3 for 35p. I'd rather test my abysmal luck at farming Condition Overload on Ophelia than this rubbish.
Some tips:
- double ressource events make this drop 2 Forma instead
- Lua can also spawn rare Orokin containers, which contain 100% 1 Forma
- Spy Mission can be way faster, when doing 1 room. About same speed with all 3. It's also decent for leveling weapons
So that's why you were using ember the past few days. Good to know.
edit: I highly recommend Saryn with the 1 and 4 combo, with a torid. ROOM NUKES! And also: the spores spread so just a few casts, and a grenade from the torid, and you're good to go.
So... I'm still new. Can the rare orokin container here drop the corresponding mantis blueprint as well? Or is it just random loot with a chance for a forma?
I am more worried about mantis parts than I am some forma atm.

First u need the room then u must be lucky to drop 1 Forma :P
Just get a 75% sale and buy Platin for 50$/€ and u will never get any problem with any Stuff :P
An even faster way is, that is if u wanna play Lua, sell all the cunning/power drift mods for 10p each and buy yourself a forma bundle. You can 3-4 of those more valuable ones in less than 30 minutes or do quick vault runs for some quick plat. Farming forma on Lua is just a waste of time.
Hi, Is there a way to tell what tile you are on when you spawn in? After running 37 spy's and getting 3 music puzzles (2 of which had forma) I am trying to work out a way to know as soon as I spawn in if the puzzle will be likely! Any advcie appreiatted.
What corrupted mods do you use for Ember's World on Fire (and also Accelerant)? Any augments you use?

That's interesting, but i'd still prefer running endless void fissure with randoms, even if you don't get forma-you gonna get something to sell ot dump in to duckhats. After certain point you have nothing to spend forma on anyway, so you can just farm bp's and craft them in periods between major updates. Nothing burns out more, than constant repeating of something, you should avoid it by all costs.
I have a question: If I play capture, with a Volt speed build, wouldn't it be faster?

Wow so much for that question after reading everyone's thoughts on the method. Besides myself on how to move up. Bad enough I'm soloing the game due to lack of funds for gold membership on the one but most of this stuff is real rng luck and how you orokin catalyst/reactor forma and mods almost impossible unless you have plat. on a side note will u make a twin gremlin video i hav a riven with 440% damage since riven disposition is 5x for that but having tough time choosing which way to go full damage or status+damage offcourse dont think we can get 100% status on that

I don't know if i'm lucky or unlucky. In 15 runs 0 music puzzles. After that, in 3 runs 2 music puzzles both with forma :/
Thanks alot, but I stick to crafting formas. Afterall, I get the blueprint 88% at the time, I open radiant relics. Meanwhile I can just collect the aforementioned relics.
And there's also another way to farm forma if you don't need to spend plat on anything ATM. Or if u don't have plat, sell some stuff on trade chat, get some plat, buy 3 forma bundle for 35p, ez

Hey I'm fresh out the oven noob. Maybe out in 2 weeks. Just past Europa and know I need to start formaing and orokin cells and reactors. Anyway point does this still work since this video is a couple of years old and especially since I heard they nerfed one of embers spam attacks. I need those things to make it through. I mean their's a ton stuff to do so you can get the stuff you want to make but without the good mods forma and orokin catalyst/reactors it's slow road. If it can still be used thanks if not cool too.
I honestly get the Forma Bundle (35p for 3) which saves having to waste 20p on 1, but I still like your method.

There are 2 another technics : you are very rich and you pay everyday 5-6 Forma with Platiniums or you have a very big community and everyday your viewvers gives you Formas or lot of Formas :)

got 2 forma back to back first and second time I managed to actually solve the puzzle, though sometimes there can be issues with clients getting a different puzzle to the host..
I've been doing this for a while just use Snapchat it lasts a tad longer than the song and you swipe it away when you're done instead of having to delete a video plus sc will auto replay. this method is RNG but worth as now you can gain a fair amount of ducats as you aren't having to take the forma bp
In the time it takes to do all this shit you could easily farm enough crap to sell for enough platto buy a 3 forma pack from the store.
yes, need a lot of luck for the musical puzzle room to spawn, then need about 50% chance for the Forma to be in that rare container... while this method is not effective at, this is the best alternative to Forma crafting...
well then, RNG loves me. the second room I entered was the music room and I also got a forma. I am now expecting to never find the room agaon

This looks like it would be one of those 3 hours of nothing before you get lucky, but compared to a 24 hour build time, i guess it is ,technically more effective.
there is much more effective just buy some forma for real world currency and that s what is this game about...ofc for Panjab or Mogadishu children is farming it better way

Better method: run relics, get plat, buy forma bundle. Easier and faster. This method is relying on rng on top of rng. And rng in this game is a bitch.

There's not always a music room. Is it RNG or have I not memorized Lua as well as I thought? Not much info about the music room in the wii.

Its drop rate from that cache is actually very low, if uve gotten alot from them in the past compared to when u were recording this video, u were lucky then and just normal now.
personally, I just farm and sell prime parts and just buy forma bundles with the plat, but this is a great guide for people that don't care for trading.
actually the music puzzle tile doesn't spawn on mobile defence (stated in Octavia's anthems patch notes) I have the best luck with this tile on captures speed run nezha

the same amount of time can be used to farm relics and then do void fissure to get prime stuff. sell the prime stuff, buy forma bundles. straightforward and less depressing XD
I dunno, how i get my forma is just farming void fissures for void stuff then sell those to buy the forma bundle in the shop. 35 for 3 is pretty good deal.

Quick question, does having a resource drop chance booster amplify the chance of getting the Forma from that container?
Actually the video tells these things: go to Plato on Lua > get to the music challenge room > get the reward > repeat until you get forma. And you can ignore the 1:30 min run which has nothing to do with the puzzle room.

I think Capture might be the fastest because you can just rush through the level, kill 1 guy and then finish instead of having to kill everything

if you found the right tileset you can have 2 time the contener with probaly the format if you ask the consol to replay a new music when the replay of the music you completed just end
