2020 I just discovered that I LOVE BRITNEY SPEARS. I never thought that I liked her music but I was wrong!!! I usually listen to hard rock but Britney Spears has me under her spell. I just purchased 4 of her CDs and will also purchase them on vinyl.

The one thing that always amazes me about this woman is she’s so humble and nice in all her interviews and tv appearances but she calls out so many people through her music. I bet you anything she’s the type of person that is a silent killer. She shuts up when she is on camera as herself but once that red light comes on in the recording studio, baby you better run. She lets it all out in that booth. As she should. To most artists their work is their truth and escape.
The Lonely vibes in this song tho. I've always said eletronic rock suits her style so much (see Stronger, VMAs OIDIA, Don't keep me waiting, etc)

Her label made her change the way she sang because her natural voice didnt fit the bubblegum pop image they wanted her to do. She originally was going to be a Shania Twain type artist but when her label figured out she could dance and was on the Mickey mouse club they wanted to use her to bring back teen pop. And they obviously succeeded. Its not a fake narrative created by fans, its facts. Doing the baby voice ruined her natural voice. Look at what Ariana Grande said. She used to do britney impressions all the time but stopped because she said when you do a voice that isnt natural for a while, it ruins your vocal chords. The evidence to whether or not she always sang this way is there. She didnt. Old performances along with sorta recent instagram videos show that she doesnt naturally sing with the baby voice.

I was so excited to hear her next album, and when it hit I bought it, and hugely disappointed. Oops was for preteens that were 4 and 5 years old. her voice was/and is now like a 3year old girl.
