XYL Unicorn - Unboxing & First Impressions

Today I'm unboxing the Unicorn from the gel blaster company, XYL. This blaster is their first foam dart blaster to bring to market. With some input from the foam flinging community and enthusiasts, this blaster has a lot to going for it. The Unicorn features a very short CQB profile with not an inch wasted. The short dart exclusive, magazine fed, springer, sports a duel/customizable priming option and some outside of the norm attachments. It's definitely going to get some double takes out on the field.
In this video I'll be unboxing and assembling the blaster as well as giving my first impressions on the blaster. I'll also highlight some of the basic features and functions throughout the video. My full review of the Unicorn with accuracy and precision test hitting the channel this very soon!

I love mine. I added the 1.8mm (heaviest) spring and the 25cm (longer) barrel. Stuck a Worker injection-molded SCAR to the longer barrel. So nice! Fires around 170-180.

Great video! Would you recommend buying one of these if you already have a Harrier?

That's a good question. I think it boils down to, how do you use your Harrier? If you like to play more of a long-range engagement style, the Unicorn would make a great secondary slong over your back in case you have to move in close or opponents advance on your position.
However, if you run the Harrier in its smallest form and are more run and gun/aggressive player, the Unicore would probably clash with the Harrer.
Both blasters have their unique benefits, but after using both, I could definitely see myself building a loadout that utilizes the stranges of each.
