Ed, how long is the Cades Cove loop? Love that hill, I'd have to "let er roll" down that one. If you guys ever get the "wanderlust" I hope you come out and ride Zion with me, you'd love it!! My lack of experience and cheap camera doesn't do it justice. I'm trying to get the park rangers talked into letting me ride the mile long tunnel. That and the switch backs are the only part of the park I haven't ridden. There is also a bike path through Red Canyon which is close to Bryce Canyon that would be fun to ride. It would be up and back but the canyon is so beautiful you wouldn't mind.
Ed, you have ridden so much, I want to see how you feel about all bicyclists changing direction of ride? This way we can see what the driver is going to do plus it stop the fools that make right hand turns with out checking if your beside them. I believe there's more benefits of riding against traffic. At least we don't have to worry about the clowns driving over us from behind. Just my thoughts.
Don't do it....., it's too far out of international 'norm'. A good set of rear view mirrors at eye lever (on a canopy!) would be a major upgrade if you want to see upcoming traffic. Don't combine 'impact speed' (yours PLUS theirs) if heading toward each other! Have a nice day 'moving forward'.
Heaven on a bun, indeed. I love the dogwoods. A late afternoon ride is great, I think I have found you a perfect sponsor... AZODICARBONAMIDE The perfect chemical to make your ride through life softer... Used in sports products and food products. Next time you are in your favorite sandwich shop, tell them you want your bread with just a little yoga mat in it... And coming soon Ed's new bicycle seats made with azodicarbonamide. What do you think?
Actually, Bernie................, I've made the switch to healthy portions of drywall for my calcium sulfate intake! But having an edible butt-pad has the disgusting side of my attention! Bunn appetit!

Oops, just read your intro. 11 miles, sounds great.
