The second part of the school series is demonetised by TH-cam because it deals with the adult topic of sex education. Please watch and share the video. Thanks th-cam.com/video/HsaRx4zFRm0/w-d-xo.html

There are some points that you mentioned are correct and some are wrong, because only in private schools there is school transfer, and public schools are few of them because the Parents Association pays money to get public schools to transfer school, and there is a great injustice to students from some authoritarian professors, and as We have a lunch break where we go home because there is no school cafeteria and the lunch break is from 12:30 to 14:30 and most of his house is far away. Personally, I had to not eat lunch many times because I do not have enough time to go and come back in this Standard time and there are many like me

Only a minority of Moroccans get to go to private school, which is still not comparable to the quality of education in any European country (I taught English at a private school before).
The Majority who go to public school are in a sad situation, Please read the UN report on education in Morocco to understand what disaster is Morocco going through

The private schools in Morocco certainly offer better education than state schools in the UK. Yes the buildings are more polished in the UK, but there’s very little real world education being taught.

You are not the first person to make this point to me. I am looking for ways to see how I can test the quality of education in Morocco and the UK. Any ideas?

@@GariSullivan check out theschoolrun.com or elevenplusexams.co.uk which have key stage 2 past papers for those about to enter high school. A score of 100 means the child is working at the expected standard which in 2019 only 65% of UK children achieved. I’m pretty confident if you got pupils in Morocco to sit the papers they would achieve higher results.

      That's what I was gonne a say
Their is some private schools in Rabat and casablanca that use same France system exacly, the student their get a lotttt of benefits, here in Morocco their is no such thing a justice basically even if you bad at school you still gonne a get very high grades even in all other private school(the government doesn't care, they use that to convince parents to not change school)
The opposite in public school you must study very hard and you will noy get grades from teachers
By the way this days teachers were treated like shit and got beaten for asking about their rights you can find it on news channels
Here the government doesn't care about education problems only about projects that's will benefite financially same thing for health problems
If you a local and have no friends in government and poor you basically dead, If you ever some day have a disease you will not be treated well even sometimes they will leave you in the door of the hospital suffering.. ,
if you have money you will be guided and you will live as a king for real
For your conditions you are not a local so you will be treated well with everyone even dealing with cops.. Some conditions not
That's kind of same thing in Algeria and Egypt
Basically you can see bribes everywhere...
If you talked about this corruption well you are in danger you will have a lot of problems...
They might put you in jail for no reason for long times, sometimes for unreal reasons like rape with no proofs
Yeah is safe in morocco but no justice most of times ....
      .....

That must be a joke, education in Morocco is ranked as one of the worst in the world according to the UN.
Uk educational system produced scientist, entrepreneur, artists, authors ... that are well known worldwide!
What did our educational system produce? The few figures we are proud usually poursuid education outside morocco and that’s how they become successful, Moncif Slaoui, or Rachid El Yazami for example.
I just don’t understand how can you compare the two at all

In Morocco, English is politically marginalized.
    (From Paris and its Francophonie).
Sorry to add something of paramount important about Francophonie in Morocco.
Moroccan is not only a French speaking country, but it is a country English has been purposely and politically marginalized! Simply because there are a set of a bilingual french speaking countries and even that English is not marginalized: Algeria, Mauritania, Tunisia, Linoleum, Belgium and Switzerland..
Before 1990, English has always been taught 5 years before acceding to university, and ESP, scientific and technical or business English has always been taught in all different studies, and during along university years! After this date, 1990, where many world changes occurred: The end of cold wear, beginning of globalization.. all countries have switched from 7-8 to 12-14 years of English teaching before acceding to university. And even these foresaid set of countries (bilingual french speaking of) have increased from 5 to 7-8 e.i. from beginning of middle school. And their students still learn business English during their studies.
In Morocco, we waited 16 years for a small little change to occur! switching from 3 to online 4 years 😢. And ESP, professional English, is not being taught yet! (No English at different branches of studies). This is a peculiar situation in the world 😥. We could understand such fact If Morocco was an Eastern country. If it marginalized the language of Western... While Morocco is :
    - The first country which recognized USA
    - The first economical European partnership for decades
    - Is a capitalist country
    - had always played with great powers during centeries diplomatically speaking..
    So what's the intrigue?
In fact, Morocco is a sheer francophone forteresse 😢.
They are not more 3 or 4 countries all over the world where English is taught only 3 or 4 years before acceding to university: Morocco, Guinea Conakry, RDC of Congo, and before that was Centre Africa. And even Guinea and RDC CONGO have lately increased their number of English teaching years up to 7-8 years.
Result : They aren't more than 3 or 4 countries where university teachers can't speak English 😮..

The Moroccan education is very very very different from one region to another, one city to another, even one school to another in the same city. I suggest you interview people from different places, and also public school students, who get the short end of the stick every single time.

    • @GariSullivan
      @GariSullivan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

It's true that every region and schools have their own differences. When I was researching the video, I spoke to a lot of people from different schools in Sale, Rabat and Agadir. I, then, tried to find some commonalities between them all.
I would love to do street interviews with people. It's something I am organising for the near future.

  • @StatisticalAnalyticSignal

Study time means nothing. It all depends on the syllabus they are covering and how prepared were they before they start. You cannot compare the ratio between study time and break time and achieve any meaning information because these a two totally different countries and cultures. ALL IN ALL,This video is garbage statistics.
