Yes, and in spite of that the brainwashed idiots STILL believe Britain should pay HUGE reparations to the modern day "free" sixth generational decendants of an African slave trade it DIDNT start,
      - yes a certain small number of individuals profited by it, but it was already WELL established by then. - and totally ignoring the fact that it expended a HUGE amount of its own national finances, prestige, and blood, sweat and tears almost single handedly for over a hundred years to END the WHOLE barbaric practice for good by everyone.
Britain didnt simply end the supply of slaves to the west - it stopped it dead over virtually the whole PLANET. - even in the minds of the British Empire haters THAT should be something WE can be proud of.
A question that puzzles ME ( o.k actually it doesnt) is.......where is the left and BLM etc on demanding the SAME reparations from those exclusively Isl*mic Arabs who CONDUCTED AND RAN the whole slave trade for nearly a thousand unbroken years by buying them direcly for a few beads from African tribal chiefs, then marching them to the coasts and SELLING them to white traders ?...........oh thats right.........NOT A PEEP !. sadly it is NOT about righting historical wrongs - it never was, - but simply making political trouble for their right wing opponents......and profiting on the back of it, the whole thing is one big grift......but the propaganda machine hides that so well.

Ah yes the Bible ( also known as the goat herders guide to the universe ), the Bible shall we say is unfortunately less than reliable when it comes to truth or fact. I tried to seek out truth in the Bible only to find there wasn't much to be found. I would have to be willfully ignorant of reality in order to believe the Bibles so called truth. The religious also blindly believe what they are told. They don't question it because they don't want to know any truth that doesn't jive with what they want to believe.

China and South Korea demand responsibility from Japan every year, for the deeds of the Empire of Japan. But yeah, nobody demands anything from Russia because everybody knows it'd be useless and Russia's victim game is second to none. Belgium has recently got flak for Leopold II's personal empire. No idea why the Netherlands isn't getting blamed more. Perhaps Portugal and Spain were spared because after the collapse of their empires, those newly independent countries themselves didn't always manage to get their act together all that well. France has managed to slither away from quite a lot, but not entirely. The USA has a whole lot of frothing enemies out there, so you shouldn't be envious of them.

In fact the word "slave" originates from the word "Slavic", when Slavs were traded as slaves in Spain and North Africa by Muslims. The fact that its ingrained into human history is undeniable. Its time to take the lessons that history has shown us and move forward. Slavery still exists today in the form of 'Human Trafficking'. Lets focus on stopping that and not what happened in the past.

@@johoney5458 New FAIR Cost Study: Illegal Immigration Now Costs American Taxpayers At Least $151 Billion a Year - - - WASHINGTON, March 8, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- A new report by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) finds that, as of 2022, American taxpayers shell out at least $151 billion each year to cover the cost of illegal immigration. Broken down, the data reveals that taxpayers pay $182 billion annually to provide services and benefits to illegal aliens and their dependents. These costs are offset by about $31 billion in taxes that are collected from the estimated 15.5 million illegal aliens living in the United States, bringing the net cost to $150.7 billion annually.
The 2022 costs represent a 30 percent increase to taxpayers in just five years. A former version of this study, conducted in 2017 by FAIR, placed the annual net cost of illegal immigration at $116 billion. Most of the additional costs have been added in the past two years, as the Biden administration's de facto open borders policies have triggered a historic surge of new illegal migrants pouring across our borders. Moreover, the updated price tag of $151 billion is a conservative estimate as there are additional costs incurred from illegal immigration, but there is currently insufficient data to provide reliable cost estimates.
FAIR's comprehensive analysis looks at available federal, state, and local programs and services that are directly accessible to illegal aliens, or indirectly, through their U.S.-born children who qualify for all means-tested programs. In addition to the surge of illegal immigration since 2021, state and local governments have offered a variety of new benefits and services to illegal aliens, which have exacerbated the situation for struggling taxpayers.
Among the key findings in FAIR's report, The Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on United States Taxpayers:
The gross annual cost of illegal immigration (the total amount before taxes paid by illegal aliens are factored in) is now $182 billion, annually.
Taxes paid by illegal aliens only cover around 17.2 percent of the costs they create for American citizens, bringing the net cost to $150.7 billion a year.
The largest component of the cost is K-12 education, which must be provided under a 1982 Supreme Court ruling. The annual K-12 education cost for illegal aliens (and their U.S.-born children) is $78 billion, of which $70.4 billion is borne by states and localities.
Health care for illegal aliens costs taxpayers about $42.7 billion annually.
A variety of food assistance and nutritional programs used by illegal aliens and their children cost taxpayers about $13.5 billion annually.
Combined federal, state, and local criminal justice costs associated with illegal immigration run about $47 billion annually - not including the cost of damages to victims.

He doesn't cover in this video how many tribes in Africa sold other tribes into slavery through Arab slavers but that was a big problem. Old tribal rivalries often resulted in one tribe raiding villages and taking people as slaves which were then sold to the Arabs and then sold to slavers for delivery to various ports. Slavery was not just a thing in the United States, it was worldwide and as old as time itself.

      Examples of Democrat racism
1857: Democrat Supreme Court Justices ruled that slaves are not citizens and could not expect protection from the federal government. The final tally was 7-2, the only votes in favor of the slave were Republicans, all of the the votes against the slave were Democrats. [8]
1863: Abraham Lincolns Emancipation Proclamation stated that all slaves were now to be free. Lincoln was assassinated 6 days after the Civil War by a Democrat named John Wilkes Booth.
1864-1869: Amendments 13-15; outlawed slavery (Amendment 1), made citizens of people who were born in the US, protected all citizens from unfair treatment by the states (Amendment 2) and protected citizens right to vote regardless of race and color (Amendment 3). All of the votes, House and Senate, including revisions, were split down party lines- Republicans in favor of, Democrats against.
1865: The Black Codes, created by the Democrats, these codes prevented blacks from things like owning businesses, owning property and voting. [9]
1866: The KKK, another Democrat creation, formed as a "military like" presence to combat radical Republicans, enforce black codes and terrorize anyone who opposed their ideology (sound familiar). [10]
1870's-1965: Jim Crow Laws, created by Democrats, basically a continuation of the Black Codes. Included things like segregation and played a part in restricting jobs and education.
1860's-1920's: Lynchings, used by the KKK as a way to strike fear into the hearts and minds of mainly black Americans and others who opposed their ideology.
1871: The Enforcement Act, not one Democrat voted for this bill that would punish violence perpetrated by the KKK. The bill did pass, however President Cleveland (another Democrat) repealed most of the bill roughly 15 years later. [11] [12]
1922: Dyer Anti-Lynching Bill did eventually pass but was filibustered by Democrats.
1938: New Deal FHA housing discrimination laws.
1938: Democrat President Franklin Roosevelt appointment and the Democrat Senate's approval of Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard Hugo Black to the Supreme Court.
1941: Democrat President Franklin Roosevelt appointment and the Democrat Senate's approval of segregationist James F. Byrnes to the Supreme Court.
1960: Civil Rights Act, set forth for voter protection had a 78% Democrat disapproval rating determined by vote. [13] [14]
1964: Civil Rights Act, would end discrimination regardless of race, sex and religion, also provided more voter protection. Roughly 33% of Democrats voted against compared to roughly 19% of Republicans who voted against. Democrats also filibustered for 60 days.
1963-1969: Lyndon Johnson, he was quoted as saying "I'll have them n*ggers voting Democrat for 200 years" around the same time that he passed his infamous "Great Society" bills, which consisted of welfare, assisted housing and other programs of that nature. We'll discuss the "Great Society" and it's harm to mainly black Americans but also to poor folks of every color a little later.

Britain signed about 50 anti slaving treatise with West African kingdoms and any that refused to stop got bombarded into stopping. The slave port of Lagos, Nigeria was one such location bombarded to stop slaving in 1851. Lagos renamed it's independence square after a local slave trader. You can see a statue of her there today.
When the transatlantic slave trade had largely stopped, they diverted ships to East Africa to stop the Arab slave trade. They stopped patrolling East Africa in the 1970's.

Democrats have been solely responsible for defending slavery, starting the Civil War, opposing reconstruction, lynching blacks, founding the Ku Klux Klan, Jim Crow laws and segregation, poll taxes and literacy tests. The Party voted against the 13th amendment (end slavery), 14th amendment (black citizenship), and 15th amendment (black right to vote), filibustered the 1960 Civil Rights Act (elimination of poll taxes), and tried to filibuster the 1964 Civil Rights Act for 60 days, the longest filibuster in Senate history. The infamous Dred Scott decision (blacks were property) in 1857 was a Supreme Court vote of 7 Democrat justices for, and 2 Republican justices against. By 1900, more than 20 black Republicans had served in Congress. Democrats did not elect a single black congressman until 1935. And every black senator until 1979 was a Republican. When federal troops withdrew from the South after reconstruction ended, Democrats’ white supremacy laws re-emerged with a vengeance enforced by the paramilitary arm of the Democratic Party, the KKK, which was used to suppress blacks from voting Republican.
Democrats are also the party of abortion. Planned Parenthood, founded by eugenics racist Margaret Sanger was created to eliminate the “undesirables” and that continues today where there are more abortions in NYC of black babies than are born.

Fascinating development, this discovery of history. I grew up in the 60s and 70s in a small northern Michigan town, and I learned some of this in school. Good to know history is being rediscovered by young people, and furthermore that the knowledge is used to push back against some current destructive trends and ideologies.

This is soul crushing every time i see it. The west was by no means blameless in the slave trade, as was literally no one else in the world... that being said, the west is who singlehandedly brought an end to it, yes, lead by the british, first n foremost, but it did still take ALL of the WEST to do it. NO ONE ELSE IN ANY OTHER PART OF THE WORLD, even thought there was anything wrong with it, let alone, had any interest in ending it... it sickens me how much all those who sacrificed so much to end the horrid practice are the only ones demonized n blamed for all of it in society today. Those brave men deserve to have their memories honored n their stories HONESTLY told, n theyve been robbed of it thanks to the mental illness that is the progressive left, also in the western hemisphere. Eisenhower re-integrated the military and forced the integration of schools in Little Rock against the wishes of Democrat governor Orval Faubus. The racist Democrat LBJ started the welfare state and said “I’ll have those n#@!rs voting Democrat for the next 200 years,” highlighting the fact that Democrats care about black votes but not blacks.
