just got a pc and wanted to play an rpg game and got to this game, I like Add and used him yesterday. Wondering if hes any good? Either him or The guy Raven (forgot name) or the 2 characters.
@@kuurochi add is pretty good if you know how to use/gear him. If going for add I'd recommend MP since he's easy to gear and pretty wide ranged/fast/fast clearer.
if anyone in the comments reads this please know that Lu/Ciel doesn't need 2 of everything in order to be effective, if you make a Lu/Ciel in your character menu you theres a button that says representing stats where you can switch to who you want to represent for them (Lu, Ciel or Both) meaning you can just gear up one character and both will use the same stats as the character you've geared up on.

Very useful info. You were very right about the bluhen part. As soon as i got into the levels of secret dungeons, my bluhen has felt a welcome i never felt when i was lvl 10-40
Luciel in my opinion is actually the easiest class to start with. The double mp bar is really good for new players who don’t know how to manage mp. Also costumes don’t really matter much unless you’re endgame or hate what the gear looks like. The combination gear also helps you dish out HUGE damage and can get you out of trouble. Innocent and catastrophe are really easy. I main catastrophe. But besides that DO NOT START WITH EVE OR AIN.
Nishimiya Shouko ah yes IB ares definitely important. But I’m f2p so the only way I can obtain them are via the board or being lucky with iceburners from the board. So not the most effective. I instead have the event costumes so... :P
@@idrawalot8000 you don't need to be p2w to have an IB. just hard grinding. . i play NA since like 5 months, and with a lot of hard grinding i already have full Shaviana Truffles..
When you speak, push your diaphram more so that more can go through your vocal chords, this allows the volume of your speach to increase. Its highly recommended for youtube voice speakers, such as yourself.
Nothing on the magical girl huh? maining her for 5+ years, she does have some epic sustain for both HP and MP and can buff others. only thing she doesn't have is range in the form of skills (sort of, since there is some range, but not screen nukes aside from nova). she's not easy to pick up, but not hard either. and when you get her going and learn boss patterns and such, you can theoretically clear stages without your weapon (just unequip it when the stage starts). in fact, Magical Makeup, her 2nd hyper, and energy drain are so strong that you don't even need items either... taken further, using just makeup, energetic body (the force version to be more defensive if you want, regular is more preferred), energy drain, and teleport (your evasion mechanic) is all you need to solo stages without a weapon when you're good enough using her. and her passive skills and such are designed in a way to make her a strong bossing class too. more so that energetic body just amplifies that.
I... can't say this was particularly helpful, since it pretty much *only* covered Endgame PvE despite being for "new" players. Minimal mentions of what's good to learn the game with, no considerations for PvP at all, each class's description was extremely detail-lite, stating their roles and what they have, but not even mentioning stuff such as: Freeze's effect, why the character/attack applying Freeze is a good option compared to other attacks, each class's strengths beyond just their role in a party, and weaknesses beyond just "it has resource management", "It's Melee, so you'll get hit a lot", "Eves have clunky movement", and "A couple of classes deal damage to themselves"... beyond stuff like that, y'know? I came into the video hoping for something with substance, to choose a character with, and i left with pretty much nothing beyond what's somewhat obvious by the characters' in-game descriptions and the names of a few Skills, let alone anything that'd actually help me choose a character as a noob to both Elsword's particular set of mechanics and to MMOs in general. The video itself was structured fairly well, and you can tell that you were making an effort, but... the content was just too lacking, imo.

Fatal Phantom is 1 of my main since chung first released, now he is my number 1 main. He is really easy to play with some pros like easy mechanic, you can buff your self and debuff ur enemy by simply shoot the enemy with your gun (after you become FP of course), also arguably the best ranged command attack in the game since his bullet travels fast and far and also ricochet up to 3 target each bullet, so you can shoot a lot of enemy easily and gain a lot of MP. Also FP is very resourceful, passive while awakening cuts both skill MP cost and skill cooldowns by 40% and 50% respectively, so you can spam skill all the day while using less potion, sharpshooter syndrome buff yourself and your ally's critical damage and aspd by 20%, which is really good. His dps is also really good thanks for his shooter mark,defend ignore passive, and reduced skill cooldown passive, just spam burning punnisher for damage and shooting star for AoE/room clearing and you good to go. Cons for him is his movement/jump speed is slow as hell, so you need to increase it a bit. Also you need to ALWAYS on berserk mode to fully utilize his potential, ring of fury and high awakening charge/time is very recomended.

Bravery build is really strong , especially with Ravens, so you can definitely build on RoF if you want but ideally you want revolver cannon for constant hp drain in raid
Basically you want to pick a skill with lots of multi hits and stack it with tears. For bloody queen try brandish breaker. Check the forums for more accurate answers, im a raven main
I'm a returning player and this came kinda useful to me even tho I still don't know what should I choose for pve, ofc; my thoughts are about a male char but females char are also okay. I'd like something good at clearing most likely, any suggestion is appreciated. ^^

Higher voice, use music without lyrics and always lower volume than your voice, if you're gonna read off a script read from the script and set the subtitles from the script that you're reading and practice it (because the subtitles don't match what you're saying sometimes and you're obviously having difficulty talking or reading off something) also a bit more info than just a little mentions of what they do since players can just check Elwiki and get the same or even more info than what you're giving, not hating just think you could be better if you actually try to improve quality

When you go to create a character, their portraits will be there on the left so you can match, along with the name. However i understand this guide wasnt too new players friendly and will take your feedback and put it to use on the remake im working on.
Bloody queen is not that hard, as long as you know how to fully utilize (and abuse XD) the anhilation and gale bars, you'll be fine even without potions in dungeons But it is recommended to first master knight emperor's path, if you are truly interested with yandere elesis in the future Great video!

I don't think Minerva is a good choice for new players..she's too much of a pvp character. When I started playing Elsword I picked her and got more and more annoyed cuz she just sucks at PvE...
I wouldn't say she sucks at pve. More so she sucks at raid. She has pretty decent stage clears. And reasons people recommend her for new players is simply because of the range. New players dont play the game same way we do. But good input.

I played elsword way back 2015, 5 years has passed and decided to play it again, Bloody Queen/crimson avenger still my goat.

Its alright. Herrs isnt too difficult and he does lots of dmg. Remember, ANY class is viable. Some are just easier than others.

Glad to be of help. But you need to be more specific about what you mean by pve, for example, FB is the god of speed clearing but sucks in raids
