- Here’s how to get missing ‘Magazine’ lockscreen style on low-end or lower-mid range Redmi and POCO devices running latest HyperOS on Android 14.
After getting HyperOS update, many users were disappointed to see certain features, like Magazine lockscreen, missing on their low-end or lower-mid range Redmi and POCO devices, such as on Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13C, POCO M6 Pro among others. Actually depth effect create karne mein zyada system resources use honge jo low-end devices ke liye performance pe effect dalega. Isiliye depth effect, AI features and advanved textures (blur) etc. low-end devices pe nahi avail kare jate hain. Aap root karke in features ko enable kar sakte hain but many people don’t want to root their phones for this sole purpose.

These are just some lockscreen layouts. You can simply delete them by long-pressing the lockscreen/s you wanna delete and tap the trashcan icon that appears.

Remember to move entire folder from the zip, not just files.
Update- earlier I was using mi's file manager but now when I tried it with mt manager it worked

Stop using the preset (delete it by long pressing the lockface) and create a new one or apply a new lockscreen setup

Does it? If your device doesn’t support AOD, then it won’t work. In that case, you can get AOD using third party apps but I’d recommend you to not use AOD on LCD screen as it consumes a lot of battery.
What if the back up isnt showing up on the back up tab in the settings
That's most probably because you'd have misplaced things. Make sure you grab the backup files that end with .bak and place them inside the right folder as shown in the video; not the entire folder itself.

Of Truecaller? Yes, you can purchase a premium plan but I won’t recommend a cracked version as it needs requires some sensitive permissions and cracked apps aren’t always safe, especially with those permissions

Those images come with the lockscreen presets. Don’t worry, just delete any preset you don’t want by long-pressing and tapping the delete button that appears.

Some presets do have it, but as I mentioned in the video, it doesn’t work with custom wallpapers.

Tap and hold on your lockscreen and open lockscreen editor, then swipe left to explore your previous lockscreen layout. To delete any preset, just long-press that layout and tap the trashbin icon that appear.

You can, but I guess you’ll need root for that

Of course it will. It’s just a backup method. You can always delete it anytime you want by going to your files (make sure you delete only the file you had moved to the backup folder in the first place). It doesn’t affect your phone’s ability to receive OTA updates.
depth wallpaper is missing?
Works in some presets, doesn’t work in others. If you pick wallpaper from your gallery, it doesn’t work at all.

Themes. Well, I believe a couple presets have the depth effect enabled but I guess that doesn’t work with custom wallpapers.

To undo it, long press the presets, tap the delete button (a trashbin) and that’s it
