I feel like the underside (the bass, drums, etc.) are distinctly Touhou-esque, while the melody and accompaniment is a rather fresh difference. It kinda gives the song a little mystique while keeping the "lovely charming" feeling it had. Keep up the great arranges ^u^

I admit that this is a really refreshing arrangement of this song. The instruments play a big part, and I do quite love that percussion backing the melody.
While you're right in that it doesn't sound like it matches the style of music from Touhou, that certainly doesn't mean it turned out bad, I wouldn't mind if you make more like this from time to time.
