Bought one of these in the UK in yellow fifteen years ago. Always kept charged with only indoor light. Battery/capacitor finally went flat last month. Fifteen dollars for a new one, ten minutes to install, up and running again. Still on the original strap. Indestructible. Waterproof. Accurate to the second, always. And...it's yellow. Who wears a yellow watch???

Great G-shock. You have some cool variants. Mine is the plain Jane one that is still available. I have several G's . I love my square 5610 and my Rangeman 9400 and my digital Frogman. I guess I like the old school square the best but they are all outstanding. Nice video. MB6 is awesome. On a vacation to Colorado I went to Fort Collins and located the radio station where the signal comes from. Its out in the middle of nowhere. I had to find it using grid coordinates. It was cool to see.
G-Shock is smart with their radio sync feature in the sense that if you selected a region outside the multiband 6 coverage, you watch’s radio syn would just be off to save battery.
Great job mate, easy listening and great quality. Yeah I’m a fan of the design, got orig dw in black and g model in white. They’re comfortable and design is addictive. 👍
My favorite Casio was not a G-Shock, but built like one.... it was the TRT-110 mud resist, Until I got my new favorite in the mail just the other day and that one is the GD-350, which is a G-Shock... I have a few different Casio's in my collection, but the 350 has taken over as my favorite
Hey, I appreciate the showcase of your GW6900's. I am thinking of getting one as my first G Shock in many years but am not sure if it will be too big for my small wrist (6.2 inches or 15.8 cm). Would you mind sharing your wrist size and how comfortably the watch sits on your wrist-if it moves around much or stays on snuggly? Thanks.
My wrist is around 6.75in / 17cm. For the GW6900 I use the fifth adjustment hole. I like it a bit loose to account for swelling, especially during summer. I think it’ll fit you, but you might not like how it looks depending if you have rounder wrists or flatter wrists. I don’t think it’ll be too big (for Gshock standards) but it may overhang a bit. G-Shock subreddit has a lot of sizing posts, plenty of different wrist sizes on there. If you mod it with a 5600 strap it’ll taper better and you can get a better fit. Or if you can still find one, the GW6900 NASA they just released uses one of those straps and fits better than the standard gw6900.
I have a lot of 6900s, not all are GWs. I really like the GD-X6900. It is bigger and there are some great versions with camo and heathered versions that are very striking.
I put my my gwb5600 and another ana-digi non g-shock tough solar on top of my bathroom medicine cabinet under a couple of very bright LED lights and they went from med to full in 3 days. So we can verify this method works, but is slow.

Note that you can use an LED light used for video work to charge your G-Shocks if you need to.
