Most people get the NIPT bloodwork at 10-12 weeks now which is almost 100% accurate. But what a surprise for you and your family. Congrats on your baby boy!!!

Congratulations to you too! 💙💙 I would definitely double check lol my doctor didn’t give me an ultrasounds from 18 weeks till the end of my pregnancy. I only went myself so my husband could see it so if I didnt do that I wouldve found out at birth 😂😂. Thank you so much!

The nurse sounds like such a sweetheart! Wow how crazy congratulations on your boy!! You hear about this happening at like 13 weeks but at 18 weeks it should be clear. I’d only be mad because I bought so much girly stuff that I wouldn’t be able to return anymore 😆

EXACTLY! I was totally fine with it, the initial shock was OH NO I JUST washed all the girl clothes last weekend lol. I only went to do sonogram at one of those ultrasound places so my husband could see at least once because he was not allowed to during Covid. SO glad we went lol.

My doctor never did 😅 I only found out girl at 35 weeks by going on my own to a 4D ultrasound appointment

It used to happen quite a bit back when ultrasounds weren’t as advanced. Now with the technology we have and the genetic bloodwork you get at 10-12 weeks it’s very rare to get it wrong.
