I wish they made the throwing knives more useful. It would have been cool if you could have picked them up after defeating an enemy. Would have used them all the time if you could
I have done a playthrough using specifically thrown weapons, once you include all of them its difficult to keep up a great supply but it is very fun still, and it makes dead money something you look forward to a lot
Yes you can -with great difficulty ^^; Its really satisfying using "Pushy" on him though. Its like a displacement glove if its fused with a gauss rifle. Soo powerful; Legate was jhst a bloodied torso when i was done with them (thanks Bloody Mess!).
I honestly don’t blame you for lowering the difficulty. Because throwing knives in New Vegas are not really feasible even with poisons you can concoct on campfires. However this is where mods can potentially fix said issue which makes the roleplaying all the more fun regardless of what weapon you may be using. Edit: Yes, I am playing modded New Vegas as a throwing knife cowboy and my goodness, it’s actually arguably slightly more fun than shooting stuff in front of you. Only thing is it takes a bit more skill to land your throwing knives to your target.
