My mom and I adopted one of the dogs in this video! We rescued Strawberry almost two weeks ago. She's so timid and scared in this video, but she's already coming out of her shell. She's curious about other dogs and we're hoping that as her confidence grows, she can make a dog friend or two. Thank you so much for making these videos and for time stamping them so I could find our sweet pup. ❤❤❤
Thank you for giving Strawberry a chance! She was very frightened in the playgroup, correcting every dog that got close to her. Usually dogs that are frightened like this will learn how to interact with other dogs and have fun. A lot of viewers have said that their dog learns a lot about dog interactions by watching these videos. It gives them a safe distance to learn dog socialization skills.
I have a 2 year old Covid pup, I use these videos partnered with socializing her with other people and dogs to get her more comfortable and less scared of It these videos seem to help her while putting her in the place while keeping her calm. Love the vids
@emmalenevassalle5755 April was... ...adopted that same day after the playgroup! I was so surprised to see that in the notes that I had to double check the dates.
I’m getting very annoyed. You guys aren’t doing anything about the white and brown dog jumping the copper coated terrier, The girl keeps calling the white and brown dog over and petting it, which is encouraging its bad behavior. Unfortunately that’s going to start a fight if the white and brown terriers behavior isn’t corrected. Please just stop “filming” amd actually give these shelter dogs a fighting chance and train them to socialize properly.
I'm technically not allowed to handle the dogs since I stopped being a volunteer dog handler about 6 months ago. The handlers deal with many thousands of dogs and have outstanding training by shelter dog experts (Dogs Playing for Life). DPfL actually emphasizes the importance of dogs learning to set their own boundaries and correcting other dogs that are annoying them. Corrections and respecting corrections are a very important part of dog socialization.
Thanks! There are hundreds of volunteers and staff members who care deeply for these dogs and work very hard to make their lives better and get them adopted.

I wish I had one tenth the energy that Damian has He is like the Energizer Bunny, he just keeps going and going
These dogs spend so much time in their kennels that when they do get out, they are very excited about it.
Dog Tv and human tv. Great to see the dogs free & happy. Keep up the good work & thank you for helping them.
Thanks!
I love this channel. Thanks to everyone in making it happen.
Thanks! The staff and volunteers do a lot of work to keep the dogs healthy, do the playgroups, and get them adopted.
