Thank goodness for the caring people who volunteer to make the stay at the shelter as happy as can be for these unfortunate dogs whose lives were turned upside down.
@@sarapugh6700 It's interesting that dogs have certain favorite dogs in the videos. I've noticed that dogs can get agitated when a dog disappears out of the frame for long, so I now do a lot more panning back and forth so viewers can see their favorite dog more often.
i love it! i just know that when i'm ready to adopt again i'll have my dog pre-screen by watching and seeing who he seems to like and want to play with! hehehe@@DogPlaygroupStories
A Facebook post a few days after this video was published: "Gidget is going to an awesome foster home tomorrow!! 🥰 Thank you Lucy's Hope Sanctuary and Rescue and everyone who cared about her and made this happen!"
Bella and I really enjoy watching your pups play! Even the kitties watch sometimes 🤣😻 thank you for taking such great care of these beautiful babies!!! Where are you guys located? We’re in Houston ❤️
I'm glad you all like the videos. I try to mimic the Sesame Street strategy which appeals to both kids and adults so parents will watch it with their kids and the kids will be more engaged with it. I'd like humans to watch these videos with their dogs (and cats!). Maybe it will help everyone feel like they're part of the same pack. I'm in Tucson, AZ. I moved from Austin, TX two years ago to make some sort of videos on TH-cam. I just sort of stumbled into this animal shelter soon after moving here.
The shelter has one of the best "live release" rates among animal shelters, but with all the overcrowding, they've had to start selecting certain dogs to be euthanized based on a number of factors. They're completely open about who and when to allow people and organizations to rescue those dogs, which often happens.
I have a dog that looks like Dreyfus about 4:56 in the video, who was also a rescue they said she was Australian Cattle Dog and Jack Russel mix... do out think this is right?
I got the name wrong in the video. It's Jarvis (who is listed in the comments). The notes say Jarvis is a lab mix, but he does look like a Jack Russel mix.
Are the dogs up for adoption or do the owners/parents 😊 bring them here for day care? I work half days, so I set the tv for our dogs to watch while we’re away. Thanks!
All of these dogs are upfor adoption in Tucson, Arizona USA. It's the county animal shelter, so all the dogs are strays or surrendered. I hope your dogs enjoy these videos.
They're animal shelter dogs. Every one of them has lost their home and there's over 400 of them. Many of them were abused and/or neglected. The shelter is loud and frightening despite heroic efforts by the staff and volunteers who care so much for each dog, but with so many dogs there's only so much they can do. The playgroups are an outstanding way for the dogs to improve their mental and physical health and help them get adopted or fostered. Even dogs that are frightened in the yard are getting some benefit. Most of them become less afraid after being in playgroups a few times. It's a much more natural setting for them than sitting in a kennel nearly 24 hours a day.
This is the county animal shelter. These dogs are strays, dogs that were discarded. The volunteers and staff go to heroic lengths to do what's best for each dog and there are over 400 dogs. Volunteers spend time reading to the dogs, give them home-made enrichment items, and walk the dogs every single day regardless of the weather while checking on their physical and mental health. The shelter applies the latest principles of dog behavior and has an outstanding medical clinic. I create these videos which generate thousands of dollars each month for the various things the dogs urgently need. If you want to insult someone, insult the people who breed so many dogs that society doesn't want rather than the people who are doing everything possible to save these dogs and find homes for them.
Thank goodness for the caring people who volunteer to make the stay at the shelter as happy as can be for these unfortunate dogs whose lives were turned upside down.
Thanks! The shelter has over 500 dogs right now and the staff and volunteers go to heroic lengths to take care of each one of them.
공 하나만으로 이렇게 신난 강아지를 보니 저도 행복해져요. 강아지들은 정말 행복의 대가예요! 🐶🎾💫
강아지는 재미있지만 힘든 일이기도 합니다.
I watch your videos (we watch ) for hours everyday We love all the dogs and hope they soon find their forever homes soon Thank you
Wonderful! I think it's good for the dogs when their human watches with them.
I put these videos on every evening for a few minutes and my little Bichon Frise just loves to watch all the doggies!
Glad to hear your little fluffy pooch enjoys these video!
my dog loves it too! i can tell he's particularly interested in certain dogs to play with!

All the dogs look sad and unhappy this video is upsetting

Abbott went into a foster home around the end of November and is still there, as far as the notes show.
This is a nice video but pleeeeeeaaaaase tell that dude to stop talking
There's really not much talking at all during the video.
Qué feo lugar para dejar a tu perro! Los tienen ahí encerrados y no los estimulan con nada. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
