These gadgets seem cool, but they are only good for one thing. Next thing you know, it will be in that drawer with all of the other useless things. One of the only things that I have and still use is the reamer. (That wooden thing for lemons or any citrus)

That's true, but some fruits and vegetable require specific gadgets to simplify the preparation of some recipes.. like the cherry pitter.. if you are making jam.. it takes an eternity to pit the cherries without using a cherry pitter : )
