Bobby from DJBs band bought the name and even in the 90s they smoked that stage with 3 guitarist and then Dave came back till he passed, bur without the three guitar attack and proper vocalist? Bobby is living off the past. No new material since rhe Justice album.

Ive been to dozens of shows hanging with Phil. The crowd always had a good time. Never a bad Sounding show.Always professional. the problem is its not molly hatchet, its a tribute/cover band..cover bands don't use the "real bands" name. all 6 original members are dead, all the key members are deceased. so if someone owned the rights to the beatles name, got 4 guys and went out on tour as "the beatles"..obviously that would be a joke.

Why not retire the Molly Hatchet brand and do new music inspired by what the Southern Rock bands of the 70's and 80's were truly about in the heydays. I'm thinking if you blend Molly Hatchet, Skynyard, 38 Specialm, Black Foot and the Allman Brothers, you might get a new fan base. This brand is headed to nursing homes for their next gig.
